    I've been going to Vidal Sassoon in Cardiff for almost 2 years. I'd moved to Cardiff from England and was recommended them by a work colleague with a great hair-cut.
    I've had my hair cut by 2 of the staff and have been very impressed with both - I switched to the 2nd after the original girl was promoted out of my price range (I can't justify £60 for a cut, but £40 is affordable).
    Some of the reception staff can present as snooty, but the stylists have always been lovely and friendly.
    They always listen to exactly what I want and appreciate the amount of effort I make with my style on a daily basis. I have short hair and feel that the cuts always have that little something 'different' without being wacky! In 2 years I have never had a bad cut and can't see a reason to go anywhere else.

    I don't usually review things, but had such a crap experience I felt I had to warn people! I've given it a 1 based on the fact that my hair didn't fall out or anything too drastic. Just don't bother wasting your hard earned money.Went to Vidal Sassoon for a birthday treat, cut and colour. Was really disappointed and thought it was very bad value for money.     I went to Vidal Sassoon because I saw someones hair and I just loved the way it was cut. She went to Barbara and has been her client for years. She spoke with me and gave me a lot of good advice about my hair and how it should be cut.

    Vidal Sassoon - Very good client service, lovely hairwash with great-smelling shampoo. Unfortunately, I don't think my stylist spoke very good English and when she did speak, it was to a colleague in another language. Her next client arrived half-way through my cut and it was then rushed and unfinished. I now have to go to another salon to get it cut again.

    Probably would not recommend it unless you pay for Level 3 or above. I had a level one stylist at £45.
