Bad Points: Only one : why the flash has to fire on macro mode ???

General comments: I've bought both the Konica Lexio 70 and the 115 at the same auction on e-Bay for $20.25 including shipping. Tried both on Superia 400 and the results were formidable!

I loved the size and excellent lens capabilities, specially on macro. Nice backlit LCD dial, huge finder with everything you need, Nice shutter sound ( yes, its true!!) It beats my Minolta Feedom 105 i, my Freedom 90 and ties up with my Olympus Infinity Superzoom 330....Bravo Konica!!....at last!!

A review of the Konica Lexio 70 - It's amazing they can make such a tiny analogue zoom-camera! I have had several point and shoot cameras like Olympus mju but this one is the best...

The ease of use is the key to the Konica Lexio 70. The use of the slide as the on/off function, and the time out after 5 minutes is great. The lens is as good as any that ive seen on a 35mm camera, the photos come out so sharp and clear. It is light and durable and from experience can be forgotten its in your pocket.
The camera even sounds good when taking a photo (as was pointed out by a friend)
A definate buy for anyone looking for a basic, yet high quality 35mm.

The camera is easy to use, readily available and very small. This feature I appreciate the most. Also the function of the power-switch is a clever idea: when opening the shutter completely, the camera is turned on. This, combined with the feature of turning off the camera 3 minutes after non-usage avoids the emptying of the battery by mistake, as it happened with my brother's Canon.

The focus-finder is too large; when you look through it is difficult so see everything which will appear on the ...

The Konica Lexio 70 35mm compact camera is almost "the perfect compromise" in zoom range for this money = 28-70 mm!!!
The finder is so big and clear making it very easy to frame subjects, and gives good view of flash-/focus control-lamps too.
Handling of controls and "feel" in hands are in my opinion also of the better standard, as is the optical quality in general (I haven't tried it in serious back-lighting).
For the size and price one of the better alternatives to look for, "brothered" by ...

I'm not stupid when it comes to operating cameras, but this Konica Lexio 70 35mm compact camera has me baffled. How in the world do you load film? I can't get it to advance. And just how do you turn the power on and off? The instruction booklet refers to the power source, but doesn't show or tell you where it is. Can someone shed some light?!

With the Konica Lexio 70 compact camera, everything looks washed out indoors and out using 800 and 200. Have shot 6 rolls. Red eye reduction is a joke. I am junking and buying another Olympus.

I've stopped looking for a new camera. This is the only one any reasonable person would ever need. I'm selling the other four that I bought, including Leica, Olympus etc.

Shot 6 rolls of film: 100, 200, 400 under many different
conditions and the results were excellent. Indoor flash is near flawless in coverage and eveness of lighting.
Great specs. for a camera in this class: 3.4/7.9 lens
6elements/6groups, shutter 1.3/1/500. Macro mode to 13.8 inches, thats about 1/4.8 mag.

In summary, a fine photographic tool that you sometimes
forget that you're carrying it with you.
