    Bad Points: Lots of legal paperwork etc. However the people in the Coral Team were helpful and explained everything to me.


    General comments: Got my home improvement loan without issues. I think these people saying it took long time didn't send the correct paper wrok in. I sent everything and got my money 3 weeks after I applied!

    The whole process is taking far too long. Filled out my application, sent passport, payslips, utility bill, employment contract, they've contacted my employer to confirm employment, house has been valued by their surveyor. After a few days of no contact today they have asked me to put down in writing what I would do if I lost my job! I'm on the verge of just canceling the whole thing as its taking too much time.

    Overall everything was fine with my ocean Finance loan. Had to fill in load of paperwork, send payslips, get house valued (they paid for that though) but got loan finalised and paid out in 3 weeks.

    After about 6 weeks Ocean Finance said the lender couldn € t lend me the money because I wasn € t earning enough, and that was after all the paperwork was signed, house survey etc.

    Good on paper, yet Ocean Finance failed to deliver. On hold for long periods when phoning with an enquiry and once initial application made was told 24 to 48hrs for a decision, 5 days later and still no decision and no reply to email !
