    Good Points: Great looking and reliable car.


    Bad Points: I found new hand brake cable quite expensive, but still well worth it for the car.


    General comments: All round great car with not many of them being on the road. I would say any modle really needs a new set of alloys to set it off. I got a well priced set of 17" which made such a difference.

    I have owned two of these, prior to going to the VTEC version and as with all the Hondas I have owned I loved them. One was standard when I bought it, and I tastefully customized it. The second had been highly modified and was a huge head turner.
    If you want a great looking sports coupe with massive reliability then the 4th generation Prelude is for you. Moderately quick (if you want pace, buy the 2.2 VTEC), surprisingly economical, comfortable in the front (the back is really only suitable for ...

    Classic styling, good power, handles like a dream, sure to be a classic and can only go up in value!
    Honda reliability is LEGENDARY!
    Parts are plentiful and relatively cheap.
    If you can find one and you've got the money, BUY IT!

    I love Honda's in general but the Honda Prelude 2.0i is in a class of its own and far above the rest. Just a shame that in the back there is a lack of space really.

    Its a great sports coupe money can buy. Sure to be a classic in the coming years. A great engine with a fantastic noise. I had no problems with it. Very quick off the block and great abs breaking. Its how a car is supposed to be. You will feel a direct link with the road and that gives a fun experience.
    The steering is precise.
    I would like honda to remake prelude of the modern era!

    My Honda Prelude 2.0i is automatic, which traditionally goes against the grain of a sports car, but the fact is you will spend half you time in traffic anyhow. My automatic is great in traffic. No need to constantly dip the clutch and crunch the gears, the car just eases through the traffic before you can open it up on the motorway.     The Honda Prelude 2.0i sports car is a good daily driver that is very reliable but lacks in the amount of power it has in it's stock form, It handles nicely through the corners and has good road feel, but thats where the performance ends. It is a very reliable daily driver though, with a unsurpassable wealth of after market perts available to it. It is over all a fairly nice car thats just lacking in interior styling and power.

    The Honda Prelude 2.0i is a good sports car for the unattached couple(without children)
    Reasonably priced, and they hold their price
    A very smart looking coupe with the perfect lines a powerful 2.0cc sohc engine which is more economical than the vtech and less to go wrong.
    Handling is fantastic with good brakes to match.
