    Good Points: See above !!!

    Bad Points: None!

General comments: I have had these Morphy Richards and Mark Hill Thermo Ceramic hair straightners for almost 5 years and they are still going strong!! I have long which becomes extremely wavy once washed and dried - these straightners take about 10 -20 seconds to heat up to maximum heat, even now they still only take this time, and they work perfectly still ! They are quite warn with age which is to be expected but i would certainly buy these again when they finally give up the ghost!! They were very reasonably priced, i think my husband only paid about £40 for them in a Boots sale at the time! Not sure how much they are now mind you !

Morphy Richards and Mark Hill Thermo Ceramic were better for my hair than Ghd's and have lasted me 3 years so you can imagine how upset i once when i tried to use them to find they ha just stoped working.
but for buying them in the sale and using them nearly everyday as i have exteamly curly hair for just over 3 years they were brilliant, lets just hope the ones i got to replace them are as good

I tried GHD first but changed to Mark Hill/Morphy Richards.
Mine have lasted for 5 and a half years and have been used every day.

I have really thick hair and the Mark Hill straighteners do a better job than GHD did.

after i have finished doing my hair about 1 hour later it go's really wavey that might just be my hair, but when i use GHD's or FHI's it stays straight for hours.

i would prefer, GHD's or FHI's that is my opinion

Bought mine nearly two years ago now on the recommendation of my hair stylist. Bought from Boots to gain my Advantage Points too! They are superb. My hair is particularly thick and I thought it would take an age to get through it but I can get an almost professional looking finish in around 10-15 minutes. I've heard many votes for GHDs but personally, I would buy Mark Hill.

It glides through my hair, making it straight and smooth, and has lasted me over 2 years now! the plates did go a bit black, but I have had them a very long time and the plates are still smooth and it does the job so don't matter. When I get another straightener I will get the same one!

I would recommend these straighteners to anyone if you have curly hair which is thick you will know like me how hard it is to find a straightener that doesn't take forever but with these you can just run over you're hair for literally 10 minutes and you're hair looks brilliant.

I've had these straighteners for four years and they still work, brilliant considering I use them at least every other day! They heat up quickly, easy to hold, light and work almost as well as ghds (not quite as well but they are old now!). They're on their way out now as, like other people have said, they're going a bit shiny as the coating has come off, but they still work and don't damage my hair.

Quickly heat up, can style my hair with ease, even though it is thick and frizzy. I love my straighteners!

I think the Morphy Richards and Mark Hill Thermo Ceramic hair straighteners are good straighteners, and it can be a very good styler for thin hair. Gets very hot and can keep hair straight, but not all day!

They're good for a year, but then they're not very good.

The Morphy Richards and Mark Hill Thermo Ceramic hair straighteners are easy to use. Unfortunately, the protective coating started to wear off after a year, so now they damage my hair lots.

I have had the Morphy Richards and Mark Hill Thermo Ceramic straighteners for over a year. They are fantastic! Very good for value. Instant heat, and my hair stays straight for hours. These straighteners work very well with Mark Hill heat protection spray. I love it!

I have had these straighteners for over a year, they have been exellent performance wise but I noticed when I had them for under a year the ceramic coating started coming off and over time more and more has come off so there is very little left. I also have two friends who have the same straighteners and the same thing has happened to them. Despte this I think they work just aswell and this may of happpend because I leave them on for too long or plugged in.

I bought the Morphy Richards and Mark Hill Thermo Ceramic straighteners today after taking some 'Tony and Guy - glass ceramic straighteners' back to the shop as they were awful! I bought the Mark Hill for £49.99 on sale in Boots and they are absolutely fantastic! They even make my thick hair look sleek and thin! I would highly recommend them, they're BRILL!

Morphy Richards and Mark Hill Thermo Ceramic is overall a good iron. Until it stopped working. I got this iron for 40 pound and I think it's the newer version. As my mate has one and that has lasted her 2 years and is still working fine.
