    The worst airline ever...My family and I check-in 1 hour before the check-in closes and we we're advised that the plane was FULL...wtf and there about 15 passengers queing on our back?...that means they keep on accepting booking/passengers without counting the capacity of their plane...their insane...we were asked if we can travel the following day but we refused as we got a connecting flight from our destination,we were transfer to another airline after 2 hours of waiting from their counter. So we arrived to our destination..yes,safely...but when it's time to go back to London,another problem arise again during check-in time...we were not on their list...which means that their London base did not coordinate that we managed to travel to our destination...what a poor management...so they managed to sort it out after 3-4 hours of waiting...
    Another horrendous experience but this time it's from a friend, he won a Kuwait Airways return ticket from London to New York but it's simply a BOGUS PROMOTION from this airline because they asked him to pay tax and admin charge which is the same full payment of a regular passenger will going to pay when he checked to a travel agency.

    My partner & I flew from LOndon heathrow to JFK, New York in March 2009. We were slightly optimisting about Kuwait Airways after reading a dozen or so negative reports. I must say I was amazingly suprised & impressed with the quality of the plane, staff were very friendly & helpul & the food was delicious!
    I would recommend this airline to all my family & friends!

    I flew out from JFK bound to COK (Cochin, India) the day before Thanksgiving. Got to the check-in counter earlier than usual so the wait in the line became longer than expected. Check-in was smooth. It was while in line that I found out about the attacks going on in India. Despite a bit of anxiety, and expecting security to be on high, it was tolerable.
    Boarding for a 9pm flight started at 8pm and it was chaos (as always). The flight ended up being full which meant no room to breathe. I ...

    Check-in staff at JFK was efficient and polite (considering their job of dealing with thousands of passengers). Onboard, crew was pleasant as well. Then again, I'm a very low maintenance kind of a guy. I tend not to ask or expect much from cabin crews. Seats are extremely narrow in economy. It's quite difficult to adjust comfortably if you don't know the people in your row. Screens work very randomly. Food taste is quite neutral - mix of spicy and bland.     By all kind, it is better than others, always fly with Kuwait Airways I'm Pakistani and Kuwait Airways have staff Pakistani staff along with others. No Smoking Flights. bad points, none. I would recommend Kuwait Airlines.

    Some of the staff were rude, a lot of seats were broken. We had 4 flights and not once did the entertainment system work! Never Again! I'll ay the extra and go Thai Air in future!

    I flew on KU to go to Bangladesh to spend the summer. As soon as I arrived there the staff told us we had to wait for four hours. We did, but then after four hours, we had to wait another four hours because the plane wasn't here yet. Overall, I would rate it 2 from a scale to 1-10. Anyway, my trip was JFK-HAR-KU-DAC-KU-JFK.

    I flew on Kuwait Airways because I didn't have any other airlines available for the dates. So I paid top dollar for my flight out of New York. They treated me very poorly and lost both my luggage. After two weeks, they found one and reimbursed me $40 "for my inconvenience". They have yet to locate the other bag and they have shown nothing but extremely poor customer service.     Friendly staff, delicious food, good price, 180 degree recline seat (fully-flat bed). Screens don't work on all seats, toilets dirty. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with Kuwait Airways for their dedicated services :

    Not trained, slow, no prompt action, confused, I would not recommend to take this airline even they are offering me a free tickets specially for a long distance, it is worth to pay few extra and take different carrier than this. Confused stuff. No picture and sound on TV. Very very bad seats, Broken or very hard to seat and make you feel painful for you duration.

    Very rude staff, not trained, slow, no prompt action, confused, I would not recommend to take this airline even they are offering me a free tickets, it is worth to pay few extra dollars and take different carrier than this.

    Value for money, Kuwait airways is not bad. If you are willing to let go of the luxuries of the flight and focus on the main goal, which is to get to your destination at the cheapest in the fastest way possible, Kuwait Airways is the way to go.

    However, if you want the little luxuries, such as the levels that higher star rated airlines provide, you might want to stay away from this airline, or you'll just end up terribly disappointed and might ruin a good start of the vacation.

    When we boarded the plane we were one of the first passengers to board. There was a woman passenger in the seat in front of us who was clearly unwell and she was wrapped in a blanket, coughing and shivering. A doctor was called to her half way through the flight, and the Head Kuwait Airways crew member argued with her companion that they should not have boarded the plane without seeking medical attention. Yet the crew knew how sick she was, as when we boarded she was already wrapped in a blanket ...

    Plenty of leg room is the only nice thing about Kuwait Airways. The food is of poor quality. Many screens don't show an image, often there is no sound for films or music, when there is it has a lot of noise, seats don't always recline.
