The clio 182 has to the best hot hatch on the market. I have not had any problems of yet with mine and its great fun. I love driving it and it turns alot of heads to. I have the french racing blue. Compared with 306 Gti and golf Gti nothing even comes close. I highly recommend this car and it is going to be a car for the future just like the clio williams will always hold its value. Superb. Jay

I went from a 1.2 punto to a black 182 cup, and seriously,, i farted my heart out when i got it on the road. its amazing! it feels good to have a car that can take on almost any other hot hatch on the market. downside is the windscreen wash cap, it keeps popping open. but its a great motor and have only done 30,000miles in it since 2005!- Read willie j's review (67 words)

Renault Clio 2.0 182 Sport 16V is a very good handling car that needs good quality tyres on it. I put cheap tyres on it once i wouldnt do it again it ate them in 8000 miles. Auto lights packed up after waranty and the front discs were badly worn by 29000. Good on fuel on long runs but a bit noisy. Apart from that i havent had any problems just make sure the oil has been changed at least once a year i find it runs smoother with carlube triple R 5/40. Paint work is very soft so chips are common. Only owned this Renault Clio 2.0 182 Sport 16V 4 a week but my god it's amazing. I bought this car off a dealer with 90k fRsh and it drives and looks like it's come out of the showroom! All the buttons n gadgits are still new 2 me. Love it. Very fast and on the motorway home I averaged 52mpg! Loads of power and torque very happy. Trip computer tells you everything. Lights and other things easy to use. Recommend this to any one. I was going to buy a civic type r. But has a test drive in this and ...- Read Guest's review (100 words)

The Renault Clio 2.0 182 Sport 16V has good handling, good looks, not bad on fuel, but is noisy and eats front tyres an can wreck front discs after fifteen thousand miles., paint work very soft.
Good on gas on a long run an long service intervals, well recommended- Read Guest's review (47 words)

For the money the Renault Clio 2.0 is one of the best cars you can buy! It is very comfortable up to medium length journeys, climate control works great and goes like hell when thrashed. For 180bhp the little car puts down its power very well and will suprise other road users when they cant keep up with a clio!
Downside to this cracking cheap motor is horribly cheap plastics in the cabin. Looks ok but feels cheap and wears. I found myself wondering where are all these creaks coming from. I had ...- Read Guest's review (132 words)

Great car but the build quality certainly could be better.
Far too much plastic in the interior design, and my god why did the designers have to fit fake chrome plastic interior trim! Why!!! Great fun to drive but there are a few bad points. Still love driving it though!
On medium to long journeys the suspension that does so well in the corners begins to shake the fillings out of your teeth and hurts your backside. Also it eats front tyres regularly and the automatic headlights went 2 m ...- Read deathstar's review (109 words)

I switched from a 55 plate Mini One, 1.6l to this a 54 plate clio 182, 2.0l and the power increase was obvious but not too much to handle! The steering is not overly light which give great feedback from the road letting you become more involved with the driving unlike other lighter power steering cars in which you just look at the steering whell and you've done a u-turn. The acceleration is great 0-60 in near as makes no difference 7 secs and of course there is some inevitable tourque steer whic ...- Read werdna1981's review (255 words)

Bought this care 2nd hand at 56000 miles, 04 reg. Very nice to drive, like a go cart! quick, sticks to the road like glue and after 80mph just wants to run away with you. Not as quick as i expected 0-60 but im more than happy with it, looks fab and is comfy inside too. Chairs grip you and all in all a very nice car!
i went for the electric blue 182bhp, gets a few looks, esp with a blonde bird driving!!- Read emalou2's review (93 words)

Perfect handling (you can just throw it into any corner and it will stick!) and very good Engine-performance. Looks good. A car you'll fall in love with...
A good price for a small car that goes like it's something bigger...
Looks like a cute puppy and very bully at the same time... and behaves that way too.- Read yoclio's review (65 words)

Bought one of these new in 2004 and was the best car I ever owned. Had it for 2 years and nothing went wrong at all. Pretty quick and handled fantastically.
Was frustrating having to run it in but did that as soon as possible. I've heard stories of unreliability but mine was perfect and I did drive it hard.
Surprisingly comfortable and would do 40mpg on the motorway if driven sympathetically. Great value for money too, to spec a Mini Cooper S to the same level would cost about £20,000.

Looks good drives good like the car best in the blue with the grey alloys. Heavy on fuel and eats front tyres and the auto lights have packed up just after warranty has run out. It has a small fuel tank to it could do with another ten litres.- Read Guest's review (52 words)

I have a love/hate relationship with my Renault Clio 182 Sport. Behind the wheel, I have driven few better cars. Seriously good fun and no wonder Evo magazine refer to it as the best hot hatch ever. Makes a lovely noise when you give it some welly and corners like it's never going to run out of grip. However, there is a price to pay for this seemingly wonderful value....during the first 3 years of ownership (from new) the car had to go back to the dealership no fewer than 20 times for recurring ...- Read beefmonkey101's review (134 words)

Looks-wise the Renault Clio 182 Sport can be improved, it can appear just like just a regular Clio on the road. Surpisingly good fuel consumption for a 2.0 litre engine.- Read Guest's review (39 words)

erm... bad points...not alot of room... but obviously this is known when it is bought!.... the 2.0 needs to be more different from the standard clio.... like the 3.0 bodykit.... but with a 2.0L engine.- Read Guest's review (42 words)

Previously had a Ford Focus ST and loved that. The Renault Clio Sport is something else though. Just as quick in a straight line, quicker through corners and an extremely easy car to live with.
Your not going to get performance like this for less and still have 32.0mpg.....- Read ToffeeDPJ's review (92 words)
