  General comments: I put the Braun Cordless Steam and Straightener together according to the instructions, but it didn't heat up at all. I could hear the power cell's butane hissing and it had all leaked out within a couple of hours. I think I'll go with an electric straightener next time.

  I bought the Braun cordless steam hair straightener because I thought Braun were a reliable company, and I wasn't ready to spend $100 on a pro straightener. I would now, however, recommend spending the extra money for a good straightener. I have large ringlets naturally, and sometimes I like having straight hair, but after using the Braun cordless steam straightener, I was left with wavy locks just straightened at the top.   I found the Braun Cordless Steam & Straightener difficult to use. They are big and clumsy, so difficult to work on small sections of hair. The temperature did not get very hot so could only manage a kinky version of straight.

  Braun Cordless Steam & Straightener BSS - It's cheap, and it's Braun, so I thought it would be good. But I have quite straight hair, and I just wanted my hair to look like it had just been cut. But it won't work unless you have curly or wavy hair. Also, because it is cordless, you have to have an energy cell, it costs quite a lot, and doesn't last very long. And if you're in a rush, it takes about 5 minutes to heat up.

  Braun Cordless Straighteners are very easy to use. The best thing is it is cordless, can be used anywhere. Very good for travel, camping or even for a date, just put it in your handbag.
