Good Points: Small, and light enough to carry around with you.

Bad Points: Just didn't get hot enough to work effectively. The plates were too small, the steam made hair frizzes impossible to tame, and then the clip attaching the water holder to the straightener broke.

General comments: The Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine Shot of Steam Hair Styler hair straighteners are not very expensive, but you would be much better off saving for GHD's, or even a Hair Tools ceramic straightener. Not very good.

The Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine Shot of Steam Hair Styler makes no difference to your hair! Do not buy this, it's worthless.

Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine Shot of Steam Hair Styler is a good straightener for the price but I found that my hair wouldn't keep straight for long. It was also quite difficult to use with such a wide head.

I was given the Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine straighteners two years ago for my birthday and at the time they seemed really good but when I started straightening my hair more often I realised that infact they really don't do a good job at all. There are certain kinks I have in my hair that these straighteners will not get out - no matter how often I straighten it. Also it doesn't last more than a day so on weekdays I end up having to straighten it every day - which is really damaging. It is al ...

Using The Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine Shot of Steam Hair Styler you can burn yourself really easily with the steam jets as it sometimes comes out sideways.
Overall they dont straighten my thick, curly, frizzy hair very well and once it is straightened it does not last long enough for the hours you spend straightening it!

Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine Shot of Steam Hair Styler - I can see where the idea came from for these straighteners - it's like a steam iron. However, what Babyliss failed to realise is that if your hair is even slightly frizzy, any moisture (e.g., steam) makes it worse; so the hair only stays straight for five minutes.

If you don't want to spend a great deal of money on straighteners, that's fine, but I would advise you not to get any product that has "steam technology" as it's not worth i ...

Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine Shot of Steam Hair Styler - I have almost straight hair anyway but wanted something to iron out the odd kink. I found that these took too long to get anywhere near hot enough and when they did, I found I had to drag them through my hair and I definitely felt the odd strand 'twang' right out!!! The shot of steam is a bit pathetic and seemed to make my hair a little lank rather than full of shine. Can't imagine these being much kop for anyone with more than a slight ...
