Good Points: Very good fuel economyNarrow body made it very easy to park Good visibility and nice, soft seatsSuzuki dealerships very friendlyProven reliability

Bad Points: Trim is quite thinSoft seats can be a little sloppyA/C was a joke

General comments: 1.3 GL 3-DoorI bought it because was relatively cheap and had low mileage -26k. It ranks as one of my favourite cars. It pulled well even with 4 people in it and started every time. Drove through Germany and it held its own, I loved the nippy acceleration. Once you get over the very light clutch, light steering - its never going to rival a VW, but it has a charm all of its own- it is a very competent little car. The fact that there are so many high mileage examples on the market is testament to its workhorse capabilities. It was a very sad day when I came to sell it and wish I hadn't. Winter tyres with extra deep tread gave it massively improved handling.

Bought this Suzuki Ignis 1.3 GL car mainly for city use, but you could take it anywhere. It gives you a feeling that it will have a go at whatever you throw at it.
Great little car for the urban life. Designed to be simple and durable, an old school Japanese concept.
Ignis is strangely a car with character, we call ours "the puppy" because thats how it feels.

Cheap, cheerful and reliable. It also has good acceleration yet is light on fuel and tyres. Servicing is cheap and parts are not that expensive and readily available. All round visibility is good, seats are firm but comfortable. The power steering makes turning effortless. Lots of accessibility in the engine bay. The clutch and brakes are light and effective.Hatch door easy to open. Rear seats split and fold for huge carrying area.High driving position may take a moment to get used to but is an ...

I looked into this review, among others, before buying a Suzuki Ignis,
I bought at 5,100 euro a 5 yr old Suzuki. BAD IDEA. I had a 16 year old ford fiesta before was not as good in appearnce, but was precise in the steering, less noisy in the highway; even though it was old it was solid. It gave one a sense of security when driving, especially in the highway, it didn ' t rattle... unlike This mini SUV
It's a challenge driving it. Older cars of other utility cars are faster and safer. I cannot un ...

Found this to be a great little car, the space in the rear with the seats folded down is amazing had just about everything in there from fridges, cookers & double beds the lot. Ride is comfy, Can get up to a good speed on motorways, easy to park, steering is great. Can get noisy when driving at high speed could do with some more insulation fun little car to drive thought wouldn't hesitate to get another currently have the 1.3 GL 3dr would prob get a 5dr next time though. Only had a few mino ...

A generally good budget priced hatchback with acres of room with the rear seats down. The Suzuki Ignis engine is very reliable, the economy is also reasonable. Although I would have rather had a slightly larger fuel tank, the range is just over 300 miles. Depreciation may be an issue if you are intent to trade after three years. On the whole, I would buy another one.

The Suzuki Ignis 1.3 GL Very practical suppermini, which can carry four adults in comfort without any complaints. Seating position is extremely good for both rear and front passengers. Impressive acceleration for a 1.3l engine. Very frugal engine with 44MPG for mixed driving conditions. I use it every day and complete about 300Mile a week..no problems.
