    My dad bought me it as a 1st car when I passed coz he cudn't get a Black Corsa anytime soon so he got me this to tide me over. Its a yr2000 W reg was a Cat C write off (Small pin hole in back bumper & dented underneath near spare tyre) Cant tell theres anything wrong by looking.

    I was slightly dissapointed as I wanted a Corsa. I got it Sept 2008 it flew thro its MOT in the Nov. The guy sed it was in stone mint condition underneath never seen one like it. Since getting it all its had is a CD player fitted, window wiper part done as wipers start crossing, 6 new tyres & 1 brake light.

    It had 5 previous owners, 70k on the clock & in 11months of having it the millege has jumped up to over 80k. Must admit it hasn't half took sum hammering being a first car but mechanically it hasn't gone wrong not had a single problem. Love it & owt of all my mates who passed their test end of last yr my car is the only one still standing mechanically. Was a Bargain £390 for the car plus the Log book/Tax/4 tyres & diesel in the truck to pick it up all in all it cost around £600.

    Overall a nice car to start with and good for someone who just wants a car to drive about, wouldnt try racing though...

    The best car I have ever owned, I should change it, but it is costing me very little to run, so why. never let me down, a g reg 1989, 18 years old, spend very little on it, only a new clutch, body work like new, had a bit of welding done underneath the last 2 years to get it through the MOT, but thats all. All ways keep it in the garage at night.

    I bought my Nissan Micra used with only one previous owner and 24k on the clock. I love it. It's never once let me down - even on horrible cold, rainy mornings. I originally wanted a Primera, but as I've only been driving a year, I wanted to get used to a smaller car first - plus the insurance is more reasonable.
    I find it incredibly comfortable, and it drives really smooth. It's my second car and if anything happened to it, I'd definitely get another one.

    Brilliant first car its faster than my dads Ford Mondeo. It is ten times better build quality than my dad's car. I definitely will not buy a Ford.
    The fuel economy is good. It's good for getting around Portsmouth streets with the million speed bumps.
    The Nissan Micra LS is a good car.

    I have majorly tuned my Nissan Micra 1.0 LS. I have a K & N induction kit which boosts the horses by a good 20 bhp. I recently cruised on the M25 and got a nice 155 out of it. Well, I have had a 7 speed gear box fitted off an old Mustang. It is fully nitrous kitted out, boosting the horses a further 160bhp, and did I tell you about the quad ball bearing turbo from a 200SX? This car flies.

    This Nissan Micra 1.0 LS is my first car, it cost me $3,500 from a real estate buisiness which is a great deal for such a car.
    I ran it stock for a while, just putting small interior mods on here and there.
    I got a pod filter from a mate of mine and my dad helped me fit it (he's a plumber, the piping is great).
    The pod really gave it more acceleration and a deeper sound from the air intake.
    A lot of people ask if it was an exaust system.

    I acquired this Nissan Micra 1.0 LS car in January, and I have to say, I didn't choose it, my parents did, and I was a little put-off when i saw it.

    It came with a cassette player and weak speakers, which I replaced with a CD and better speakers. This was tough, as the door trim is very weak, and is like cardboard around the speakers.

    I only experience problems with this car when going up hills and fully loaded. It does struggle a bit in terms of acceleration but this can usually be overc ...

    This was my first car in 1998, My G-reg Nissan Micra 1.0 LS

    At the end of its life it had done 140,000 mls. (Superb for 1 litre engines and it had more in it too)
    Before that time however, the car was excellent the inside was very roomy for a small car (Corsa's are even smaller!) Unfortunately the trim was a bit rough, cockpit rattle and centre console shaking at speed, the steering wheel was thin so I fitted a leather cover to increase the wheels thickness to suit my bigger hands.

    I have had a nissan micra 998cc (1990 - H reg) for a few months and it is a top quality car. I havent done anything to the car and thats why i would like anyone who may know where it is possible to get either used or new alloy wheels for a micra. please e-mail me @: lordralphy@hotmail.com

    i have just bought a nissan micra 1ltr and i tell you what i am pleased with the performance but will not do 110mph standard. i clocked mine at 105 mph and that was enough for me, will do a bit more. all i have done is fitted a peaco eexhust and back box, and a k&n air filter, and some slight tuning adjustments. OK that includes a set of splitfire spark plugs.

    We have a 1 litre LS and this car is rapid. Done nothing to the engine and can blow away 1.3 SR Nova's with ease. Performance dies once you hit 95 but will keep going way past a ton. These cars are lightweight and will give hours of enjoyment as they are a dream to drive. They also have a large amount of room for expansion in the engine bay and as for wheels we dropped a set of 215/40/R15s on and there was no scuff anywhere. Put those on a Nova and you need to do some large arch beating to stop ...

    This car rulez.4 gears; means less changing involved. Close ratio gbox. cluch very light. engine revs and revs and revs.loud engine, for the full sports car experience. virtually no sound proofing. although the handling is very bad, loads a body roll. the suspension is soggy. you feel all bumps n potholes, you can drive over speed humps very fast and the car takes it.excellent. fun car to razz around if you have no shame...
