    When we talk about singing - specially singing a libretto - I can imagine a result of singing a libretto written in Italian, or French, but in German! It was the first time for me to listen to a libretto written in German. Die Zauberflote changed some areas of my mind about both Mozart, and the German language. If I will learn German one day, Die Zauberflote will be the reason behind.

    Mozart: Die Zauberflote (The Magic Flute) -- Royal Opera House - This production of Mozart's final opera takes place in an unusual setting but it is full of energy and the singing is beautiful and heartfelt, even where it isn't perfect. The sets were amazing and the quality of the DVD really lets you get a feel for the story and the performance. A great buy for opera fans of all ages!
