Good Points: This CD is excellent from start to finished. Great selection of songs and the presentation is faultless (as Tony said "if the mistake sounds good I leave it in") a must for any music lover not just Blues.

Bad Points: It isn't long enough.

General comments: Since first hearing Tony Joe White's Closer To The Truth about 8 years ago, when a friend of mine, in England, sent me a copy. I have played it continuously and I never get tired of hearing this master at work. I have promoted this CD around my friends and anyone else that has shown an interest in this type of music or is willing to hear me talk about it. It must be one of the best well rounded Blues records ever made. Tony said he made this record as a thanks to his fans and this fact really comes through. He seems to have put his heart and soul into it.
