Good Points: Very well designed tunes. Listenable over and over.

Bad Points: Dave never did have the best voice in the world but who cares.

General comments: After Dave Matthews Band released Under the table and dreaming, no one could have thought that they could ever recreate that kind chemistry on a CD. Well, they didn't but Everyday came close. Despite reviews that place it on the "3 out of 5 stars" list, this thing really delivers. Yes, it's poppy, no it doesn't subscribe exlusivevely to the Jam Band mentality that has made DMB so musician respected but it works - quite well. The songs are Adventurous, catchy and smart with hooks that grow better with age. Electric, tenor guitar appears as a major instument and is woven seamlessly into a very good mix (Dave usually plays acoustic). I could go instrument for instrument and song for song but why? Just pick it up. You won't be sorry.
