Good Points: Brilliant! What more can I say!
Bad Points: There are no bad points. Believe me!
General comments: This is quite simply brilliant! 'Whatever' is one of the most up beat Oasis tracks, and is bound to put a smile on your face even when your having a terrible day. The strings are astonishingly superb, Liam Gallagher's vocal's are powerful and brilliant, and Noel Gallagher once again shows what an extremely talented song writer he is, pouring his heart in to the song. 'Whatever' is one of those rare songs guaranteed to lift your spirits up.
If that's not enough, there are terrific B-Sides as well. '(It's Good) To Be Free' has the terrific wall of guitars sound we have come to expect from Oasis, while 'Half The World Away' (theme tune to TV's 'The Royle Family') is a sweet acoustic number sung brilliantly by Noel Gallagher, with some genius lyrics int there as well.
And just for good measure, the sublime 'Slide Away' from their debut album 'Definitely Maybe' is thrown in there as well.
This EP is great value for money, even if you are getting it just for 'Whatever'.

Whatever is a great song by Oasis but I think they should have put it on a album.- Read Ste7777777777's review (37 words)

Whatever provides a breezy transition single between the Oasis's debut album phase and their Morning Glory phase. Whatever, is the perfect Brit-pop collage of string instruments and rock musical tastes. Two strong B-sides and a cut from the debut album are also available on the single, which give the single a unique self-contained mini-album feel.- Read oasis1's review (70 words)
