Good Points: An important milestone in the world of rock. Nothing short of genius.
Bad Points: You can't fault it!
General comments: Faith No More, The Real Thing - One of the most influencial rock albums of all time, The Real Thing brought forward the extremly talented voacls of singer Mike Patton (Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle) for the first time on a FNM album. An album that boasts the diversity that the band have proven they thrive on. The whole thing is constructed from eleven songs that hold their own individually. The album saw the release of three singles "Epic", "Falling To Pieces" and "From Out Of Nowhere". Everyone who's ever been to a rock club over the last 15 years knows these masterpieces. This release is an important milestone in the world of rock, and one which every (and I mean EVERY) rock fan should own in their collection. It is nothing short of genius!
The track listing is as follows:
1. From Out Of Nowhere
2. Epic
3. Falling To Pieces
4. Surprise! You're Dead!
5. Zombie Eaters
6. The Real Thing
7. Underwater Love
8. The Morning after
9. Woodpecker From Mars
10. War Pigs
11. Edge Of The World
Released back in 1989, this album is still played at the clubs and coveted by millions. It is truly timeless! Please, if you don't already own this album, buy it now!!!!
