Good Points: Great hits that will never ever date
    Makes you feel good

General comments: Oh the beautiful Debbie Harry (now prefers to be called Deborah!), not many women could wear a black bin liner and still look absolutely stunning! Debbie certainly could, and did! She has the most amazing blue eyes, and in her heyday with Blondie the girls wanted to be her, and the boys just wanted her! Not only was she (and still is!) amazingly beautiful, but she had a fantastic powerful but sweet singing voice, blending beautifully into the rocking sound of the band Blondie.

Atomic: The Very Best of Blondie is comprised mainly of Blondie hits from the seventies and eighties, but there are a couple of '98 remixes of "Atomic" too, Xenomania mix and Tall Paul remix.

The first hit I remember from Blondie was "Denis", which is a fabulous track, which, as a single reached number one and stayed there for weeks. It was a dance floor favourite, great tempo, great song and Debbie chants away in sexy French tones! This is on the album, as well as their other very well known hits such as:

    Atomic
    Heart Of Glass
    Sunday Girl
    Call Me
The Tide Is High (In my opinion this original is far far better than the Atomic Kitten cover!)
    Dreaming
    Rapture
    Hanging On The Telephone
(I'm Always Touched By Your) Presence Dear
    Island Of Lost Souls
    Picture This
    Union City Blue
    War Child
    Rip Her To Shreds
    One Way Or Another
    X-Offender
    I'm Gonna Love You Too
    Fade Away And Radiate

Then, we also have those Atomic remixes as bonus tracks.

All in all, It is a great album to add to your collection. You will find yourself singing along, wanting to tap your feet, or even get up and boogie!
I love playing this in my car. It takes me back to the days when I had my first Ford Capri, Stereo blaring, windows down, foot down and away we go back in time with this great feel-good album!!
