    Bad Points: NONE.

General comments: 5* CAR nominated for best FWD cars for 2001*
nothing less to say` GREAT CAR! Knifed-Edged (counterbalanced crank- ). HIGH RPM (pistons, rods, etc). Better Suspension Then The GS-R's. More HorsePower, Better 0-60MPH, Better 1/4 Mile Times.

I bought the 2000 Honda/Acura Integra Type R as my second car, having owned an Integra LS previously.

    ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
The lightweight Type R has a 1.8L naturally aspirated engine (B18C) with the legendary Honda/Acura VTEC engaging at about 5000rpm. This is what turns an already strong engine into a screaming monster of a thing above 5000rpm. That might sound like a lot to rev a car, but with a cut out at about 9500rpm, the Type R is born to be revved!

The Type R has short gears, s ...

I have had my Honda Acura Integra Type R now for a little over 6 months and I love every driving minute. When I have to get out of bed at an awfull time in the morning to go to work it makes it a whole lot easyer knowing i'll be going in my ITR. (yes even after six months). The car is a great looker aswell as spot on handling and performance. On the handling point its greatly improved if you stick on some nice rubber...(on the wheels that is :P) If you can afford one of these little Jap rockets ...

Im 19 years old and i purchased my 2001 Honda Integra Type R in May of 2003.I always wanted one and now that i own it im in love with it.The power to wait racio gives the type R its race bred exseleration and handeling.when i have it out on the highway crusing at 50mph and droping it in 3rd gear and hearing the stern scream from the high reving dohc VTEC engine puting me back in the suade bucket seats is an amazing feeling.i recomend the integra type R to any one who likes just crusing around or ...

This Car has a 2.0 Litre engine and blows a whopping 220 Horse Power. It has racing seats and anything you can dream of in an Honda import. I think this car is their best yet, but we have the Acura RSX in America. I also won't be satisfied until the Honda Integra Type R is released in America. If you know imports, than you would know what i'm talking about...

I've had my 2001 Honda Integra Type R for almost 3 months now and I enjoy driving every minute of it. The car handles great and you can actually feel the road surface completely. ITR can also grip corners unlike any other front-wheel drive cars that I've driven.

ITR possess two personalities while driving on the street and with traffic and on the highway. Once V-Tech is engaged, the car accelerates with lightning speed that will simply take off on most of the ordinary sport cars tailing behi ...

The Honda Integra Type R is a car that is complete in all aspects! Power & looks at the same time is the hardest combination. The Type R covers both aspects, women love the looks, men love the power, brings two different minds together.

This car is superb. Apart from being very fast the Honda Integra Type R handles great. If you like driving fast and don't mind the exhaust sound or the wind whistling then this is the car for you. The racing clutch is a bit annoying in traffic but it is great for the open road.

I have just purchased my second Honda Integra Type R a few weeks ago. My first one (1998 championship white) was stolen by some jerk who does not have enough marbles to go get a job and buy one. Anyway, the ITR is the best car for anyone of any age. Its saucy good-looks catch the eyes of everyone, even porsche owners and, of course, the LADIES. And when vtec kicks in, it is probably the second best feeling in the world, next to... =)

My husband and I purchased our first Type R in April 2002, a 2002 Honda Integra Type R (Arctic Blue Pearl) have fallen in love with it, and if we could afford it, we would have two of them! The ride handles superbly, very fast and the only problem we have with that is speed cameras!!! Have found so far for it to be very reliable, very impressed with Honda's customer service, and love when the ivtec cuts in at around 6000 revs!

The car is very light. Chassic is very firm, about as firm as I've ever felt a stock car. Good power throughout the gears. I think the ratios are as bit long though, but the power is utilized so it is not a problem. The car did not come with a rear wiper, clock or even lights in the trunk.
The Recaro seats are comfy but may not suit large persons. The Momo Steering wheel is a perfect 12.5", the titanium shifter is efffective if not the most comfortable. Shifting is firm, short and precise. ...

The Honda Acura Integra Type R is a great car. Astounding acceleration. Solid build. Street cred. Good fuel ecomony (for a performance car). Comfortable driving position. I am really writing this review as I want peoples opinions about which tyres to buy. Should I replace the Avons with Bridgestone Potenzas? (what the car came with when new), or try somthing like Goodyear Eagle F1s? (came first in EVO's tyres test in the latest issue). I only have a few weeks to decide, so please, please take th ...

I BOUGHT MY HONDA ACURA INTEGRA TYPE R FOR £11795. THERE ARE NO CARS THAT CAN BEAT IT FOR PERFORMANCE FOR THIS PRICE. IT IS RIDICULOUS. THE ACCELERATION WHEN U HIT THE RED ZONE IS MIND BLOWNG. ONCE IT REACHES 5800 RPM, IT IS THEN THAT THE REAL FUN STARTS, THE WHEELS STRUGGLE FOR GRIP, AND ARE THEN CALMED BY THE LIMITED SLIP. IT SCREAMS AT YOU "MAKE ME GO FASTER, PUSH ME TO 9000RPM." AND YOU CAN. IN EVERY GEAR. I HAVE DRIVEN A UK SPEC IMPREZA AND A COSSIE. THE TEG IS IN THE SAME LEAGUE, AND ...

The 2 door coupe/Honda Integra type R is an overall good street racer. It has all the demands that you need to get up and go. If you don't believe me just go out and buy one or test drive one yourself.

I've owned my Honda Acura PY 2001 Integra Type R for nearly a year now, and I've loved all 14,000 miles I've put on it thus far. It's the fastest STOCK front wheel drive car in the world. With just a good I/H/E setup a Apexi VAFC, a fuel pressure reg., and some good tuning you'll see mid to high thirteens in a 1/4 mile run, and that's on street tires. The real performance of the Integra Type R shines on a heavy turning road course, such as the ones found at a auto-x. That's where the real fun be ...

For the true racing enthousiasts with limited funds, I order you to buy this Honda Acura Integra Type R car. New or old, it does not matter-a Honda/Acura engine lasts forever. Even if the 6.5 second time from 0 to 62 mph does not amaze you I have to remind you this is a FF car! And it feels a lot faster. Handling is pin sharp and changing gear never felt better. I once drove a Porsche Carrera 4 and it made me realise the Integra is something special. The Porsche felt extemely boring compared to ...

OK, you idiots, the Honda Acura Type R coupe is the only automobile that can even think to compete with the original E30 M3, if you are old enough to know what that is. I own a 2001 Yellow ITR and it is by and far the beast Acura meant it to be. There may be faster cars out there, but none with the over-all performance of the ITR. If you are lucky enough to own one hang on to it, it will become a classic. And for those that modify it, good luck, you just devalued a great car.
