    Good Points: CheapEasy to useBuilt-in timer - hot coffee first thing when I wake up!Permanent filter - no need to keep buying paper filters


    Bad Points: Jug difficult to remove from machine (compared with other machines I've used)Gauge on the side doesn't match any of my mugs at home - either my mugs are huge or the gauge underestimates how much coffee some people drink


    General comments: I bought my Proline TCF 2-U coffee machine on a spur of the moment. My microwave budget went further than planned so I decided a filter coffee machine would be good company for my smoothie maker.I knew it was a good idea to go for a machine with a permanent filter, just to reduce running costs a bit (and the embarrassment of having friends round and giving them cheap nasty instant coffee...).To be honest, at under £20 I wasn't expecting much, but this machine is just what I needed. It does a fair serving of coffee for when family or friends are visiting, and the built-in timer means I can set it to pour a few mugs of coffee ready for when I wake up in the morning, or when I arrive home.
