    MRI are nothing but a bunch of thieves. We tried to buy an apartment in Romaina through them. We have given 43,000euro so far and have come to a conclusion that some things are better left alone before lose everything we have. Darragh is a smooth talker and will do anything to get money out of your pocket.     MRI / DCC Property are nothing but a pack of con artists. They rip people off and brag about it. They offer a development which looks promising but the reality and their service are exact opposite. Do not touch them. Just google problems with MRI Overseas. It can't all be lies!!

    Visited Almeria on 15th may 2005 put £5000 down on a property in Almerimar
    (Portofino. When I got back home MRI sent me an email regarding payments for the property,it was totaly different to what i was told. So i pulled out,and lost my deposit.
    So i phoned the office in almeria i talked to the manager to see if i could

    We have been on a viewing trip with MRI Overseas to Bdorum, Turkey last year. Before the trip we were promised that the money we spent for flights would be returned to us before we leave Turkey. Not so! We have written to them on numerous occassions - they just ignore us..

    I purchased a Comprehensive furniture pack from MRI in Jan 2007 after being pressurised by their aftersales team telling me that :
    A - my apartment was almost compete and
    B - the price of furniture was about to go up.
    The cost was a staggering Euro 6450.00 for a small Studio!

    I bought an apartment in one of their own developments, in Bansko called Silver Mountain. I was assured that the area around this development couldnt be built on and that the views would remain fantastic around this location. Since I reserved my apartment buildings have shot up all around the development , its turned into an urban jungle and ours is now one of the worst located developments in the region.

    MRI Overseas Property are overpriced. I bought in Bulgaria near Sunny Beach. Before going on the Inspection Trip I gave them my budget and they assured me I could get 1-bedroom apartment, but it was proved otherwise. I ended up buying a studio apartment but after further investigations with other real estate companies I now know I could have got the 1-bedroom apartment for the price I paid for the studio!     The MRI machine is a well oiled and slick operation. Before going on any inspection trip I ensure I have done all of my research on that area. Never has any information that MRI has provided contradicted what I already knew, in my experience they only deal in fact. Yes sure they are a sales company and they are keen to make a sale and can sometimes be very persuasive however as an experienced investor I am happy to recommend MRI above any other agent.     No good points about MRI. Unprofessional. I went last year and was ended up buying, fortunately my strong will and determination meant I kept my money in m pocket. I would not recommend buying through MRI.

    If you were considering using MRI then I would say, save your money and use another company. You will pay an approx. 30% extra by going through MRI (their marketing has to be paid somehow) and you will not get the hassle-free service you thought.
    Do not listen to the 'Independent 'Financial Adviser in the MRI Welcome Sessions, MRI provide them with over 95% of their business therefore they are in no position to offer independent advice. All the money you were hoping to make on the investment w ...
