I find the BaByliss 2088U Pro 230 Elegance quick to heat up and gets really hot but sometimes my hair gets trapped and ends up pulling it. It comes with a long wire so if the plug is far from the mirror like mine its not a problem. I can't hold the tip of the straighteners when straightening or curling as it gets really hot. Even the top of where I'm meant to hold (the grip section) can get very hot too so I've had to get used to holding them lower down. Hope it helps
