I have had my Rover 75 Conn.1.8 for three years,I love it,yes the performance is not to Mr Clarksons taste, but in this day and age of motoring traffic,is quite adequate. The fuel consumption around town is 26 MPG.also the comfort is very good.I have every confidence that it would take me anywhere, and get me back.A lot of motor for very little expense.

I bought my rover club 2.0 turbo diesel new in 2003, and have found it to be the best car I have ever had. Maybe it is because I am retired now, but its comfort and reliability with its bmw engine and its jaguar interior and 35-40 mpg influences my decision making. Seeing I have had it over six years now, it feels like wearing comfortable well broken in slippers. As regards bad points, they did not provide a chaeffeur with the car to open the cocktail cabinet.

    I own a Rover 75 2.0 CDTi Connoisseur, which is on a 03 plate.
It had 79000 miles on the clock when I bought it earlier this year.
I have never driven a car as refined as this before, and I have driven Jaguars, and BMW's, and also Audi's and Mercedes. But none of these marques come anywhere near the Rover 75.
It truly is a fantastic car.
It is pleasing when you see people that own a BMW, looking at your car and openly saying that they wish that they had bought one, as their BMW is bland boring, ...

My Rover 2000 75 cdt diesel has been a very reliable cheap to run family car over the past two years, I have managed to do all the servicing at home without any problems. The interior and exterior is comfy and durable but not as robust as bmw s or audi but much better than lesser rover models. After 2 years of ownership and 20,000 miles i would recommend the 75 . Cheap running costs for a large car with the diesel models ,overall the build is very durable with a chassis which will take high ...

On the whole I am very pleased with my Rover75 Club and agree it is a great pity that they are no longer in production . The fuel pump problem is a bit worrying due to the cost although is it a problem with the car or the fuel suppliers. I was forever singing my rover 75 tdi 2ltrs praises and was comparing with a BMW5 series which I owned until everything started to go wrong 3 cat converters electrical problems hopeless in winter weather on the slightest incline,Volvo480
    le door hinges parted ...

A great car, poised and great to drive. Not a car to speed in more one to cruise in. 1.8 struggles with the weight of the car, best go for a 2ltr or the 1.8T. Inside the vintage theme continues with the retro dials etc. Air con controls are one of the best I've seen and ensures all onboard are comfortable.

When buying a car you should be able to take it on a long drive without being scared of it breaking down. Utter junk.

The Rover 75 is a poor mans Jaguar a lovely car reliable but the 1.8 engine is dodgey great handling nice to be seen in as well as good for all occasions and wouldn't look out of place on my drive ten years or more. I like it and would get another when my current one dies its sad a great company.

I bought the rover 75 1.8 conn se in 2005 and I have been very pleased with it. touch wood it has proved reliable although I do not cover a big milage. the 75 is very very comfortable and you never tire of getting into an interior as nice as this. being honest these cars are fabulous value and make mondeos and bmw"s look over priced. if you want a beautiful comfortable car you can take a pride in buy one. you will not be dissapointed.

I love these cars, their looks, their handling, their build quality and spec. The only criticism I have it the k-series engine; I admit it was a revolutionary engine being made out of aluminium etc but it is fragile.

Do not labour these engines, rev them higher instead. Check coolant weekly, keep some in the huge boot just in case. I have had my head gasket replaced (along with a cylinder head re-build) with a Land Rover Freelander type (the k-series has a layer of silicone making it even mor ...

Purchased 11 days ago with 44,000 on clock, and couldn't handle continuous use of air conditioner. Blew the top right off the reserve tank. Lucky I had my 93 Ford LTD to fall back on. It has 244,000 on clock and still going strong. Maybe the Rover just isn't meant for Australian weather conditions. Can't see it lasting as long as we had hoped.
Shame cause it's nice to drive and comfortable. We were looking forwarded to taking on a short trip to Melbourne and back (1400km).

I love the Rover 75 Club, it was a 2005 1.8T Conn with 11,000 miles on the clock and I got it for £7000. Another dealer wanted to know where I got it so he could buy some of them and sell them for a profit! It has great refinements and love the comm centre which lets you know when the screen wash is almost out (very useful). It has a auto-dim rear-view mirror and parking sensors too. By far the best thing is that I have been able to convert it to LPG and would whole heartedly recommend it ...

It is the first car that my wife has stated, if we could afford to buy another and mothball it we would. What a shame Rover have gone to the wall, just as they got it right they go out of business.

I bought a Rover 75 Club with 13,000 miles on clock in 2001, now 100k. This has without doubt been the worst vehicle I have owned. It leaks water through the front foot well and also through the drivers rear seat belt anchor. The floor trim falls off regularly. Air conditioning does not work properly. The air circulation controls have broken. Had to have a new selector for the gear stick once and it is going again. Now a problem with the steering has developed. Overall very disappointed a ...

I would recommend a Rover 75 Club to anybody. The days of British Leyland making substandard rubbish went out the window with the manufacturing of this car. Very sad that it was far too late to save the company.

I really don't understand why the Rover 75 Club sold in the numbers that it did, The car is very good car but I think that the buyers are still living in the British Leyland era, Rover had come along way since then as you will can tell when you drive the 75.
