    Good Points: I bought my Navteq 885 from a company on Ebay. They were very quick on delivery.


    Bad Points: I drive a lorry daily on the same route. I know all the short cuts but unfortunately the NavteQ does not. For instance, I was on a dual carriage way and it asked me to come off on a slip road. I ignored it because I wanted to stay on the road I was using. As I went past, it said take the second turning on the roundabout and it would have brought me back onto the same road. Every destination I asked it to do it didn't do as expected. It wanted to go the scenic route so to speak.


    General comments: Not that good. I would give it a miss until the software is updated.

    The Navteq 885 sat nav is first class but the back up needs a lot of work doing on it there is no address to contact the company for help.
    So lets have a pit more help.

    Great system, offers you the best of German engineering. Accurate, high performance, and it has all kinds of extras such as movie player (plays all types of movie files), photo viewer, ebook and so much more.
    I just love the fact that I can put it in the inside pocket of my coat and carry it any where. Perfect built quality, one of the best systems out there.

    This new Navteq 885 from a German company is putting all the big brands to shame. Navteq have built this from scratch, new design, new technology (by the way they are the people behind much of the technology inside other GPS systems). Using the Navteq 885 is child's play, it really is so simple, adding poi couldn't be simpler.

    I can't begin to say how impressive this Sat Nav is, again German ingenuity and in technology has come tops. It's only available in Germany at around 450 to 500EUR tha ...
