    acf, is a total waste of ones time, an absolute rubbish. i write the name with small letters cos thats how small they are in their gimicks. i mean whats the use. I was contacted by acf and told that i have 7.5k maximum car finance to purchase a car of my choice i asked them over and over again to make sure i wont go all the way to maidstone for nothing but they instesd i have 90% chance of driving off with the car. after waiting 2hrs at the cold warehouse i was told sorry they cant help me for no apparent reason. i honestly wonder how acf sleep at night cos what they do to people is so cruel. i wish i had seen other peoples review about acf. i would NOT have bothered going there in the first place.

    rang up about a car was told I had the loan told them what sort of car I wanted,they said no problems we have that sort of car coming in all the time
    got there after 40 mile drive,waited 2 hours to be told we needed £200 cash then they wanted to show me a totally different car than what I wanted
    I will never go back to this place again BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS PLACE MY ADVICE GO SOME WHERE ELSE

    I have found a nice car on the webside and I have applied for a loan. I got a phone call the following day from ACF and was told that the loan was ready for me and that I was to come over to my local brach (40 miles away) to sort things out. So I went there (Maidstone). The cars were very expensive indead e.g. X reg toyota corola for 4999, or 04 reg golf for 12.999!!! The guy said it was because of people with bad credit history but I was not that bad therefore he was able to put the price down ...

    We were invited to ACF in Bristol so after along day at work me and my husband drove there. We were offered £4000 part exchange on our car which had done less than the car we were offered. We waited 2 hours in a cold warehouse while all the finance was sorted. The salesman came back to us with all the details and everything set in place. We left after another hour ing in our new car.     I am quite surprised by some of the negative reviews I have read about ACF on here and other sites. As at first, was a bit skeptical if to go to my appointment. However, had been turned down at other garages and had been treated like dirt and they were very disrespectful.     i visited acf car finance in 2007, after waiting 3 hrs for the finance to be sorted, they took me around to there so called show room ha ha wat a joke, alot of over priced cars in what can only be described as a yard, any way i ended up picking a w reg ford focus which was up for £8500, the sales man told me that the high prices on the car was to scare people of buying for cash,and the car was really £3750, when i got home i realised my agreement wasnt in my clear cheep folder, so i ...

    please do not buy from ACF Car Finance. i don`t know where to start, cars over priced and con you in to selling your part ex for much less than a grand as stated in advert. no cash back as promised don`t tell you apr, total payable, as per fsa requirement. tell you a pack of lies about bringing car back in 18mths to upgrade lower payments. cars not 136 checked as advertised also only stock the ones no other garages want. the company from hell.

    I dont have the best credit history,but i am kicking myself now as i have purchased a car from ACF Car Finance,WHAT A MISTAKE!!!
    If i can advise people before you buy,dont bother,dont even go there.
    I was approved online before i went,and was only interested in a particular car,and i was advised they had my particular car in stock.
    So i made the 100 mile trip to my LOCAL branch.

    ACF Car Finance are an absolute shower. I was informed that the finance was approved and I would not be invited down unless that was the case.

    I was also informed that they had several of the particular cars I was looking for in the showroom.

    After sitting for 2.5 hrs, I was told there was a problem and I would have to go and they'd call me back Monday. I had a look in the showroom and they had none of the cars I wanted at all.

    I have just purchased a car from ACF Wallsall and i cant fault them.The saleman explained everything clearly and i got the car i have always wanted a 06 Mondeo estate.Yes they have a higher APR but if you are like me and have hardly any credit history which gave me a poor credit rating they are fantastic.The repayments are affordable i am over the moon with my car would not hestitate to recommend them

    we called acf on the wed and was told all was ok within a hour as long as we could bring 2 proofs of id and driving licences. we said we could go down on the friday as we live over 80miles away from bristol.

    we rung on the friday before we left just to make sure the finance was definate as we have a really bad credit rating and its a long way to go. was advised by a salesman all was definatley ok and they only ask you to go if the credit is definate.

    ACF Car Finance's customer service was extremely poor,they stated that although my credit rating was poor they had a lender who could help me. ACF promised to call me back to arrange a date to come to their showroom in Dukinfield, they did'nt,I contacted them again a day later to be told that the salesman who was dealing with my application would call me back in 10 minutes.1 week later I'm still waiting.I accept my credit worthiness is not good but common courtesy in letting me know I had been u ...

    I must say what a fantastic experience I had at ACF Car Finance in Manchester. I called on a Monday, visited on the Saturday. Chose my car there and then and drived away the same day. My licence was even in my old address which caused no problems. I have bad credit and was accepted. I would recommend to everyone.

    No good points for ACF Car Finance after being told we had finance on a car we travelled from halifax to normanton which took a good hour to get there,after the salesman gave all the usaul banter they took all paper work to copy only to come back after 20 mins n tell us that we couldnt get it.When asked to explain the salesman was very reluctent and tried making us leave.When asked for copies of documents bk he didnt seem pleased.This company is a joke would advise nobody use them.

    brought a renault megane grand scenic from ACF Car Finance bristol 55 plate 16k on clock this was jan 09 i now have an electrical fault with it that means i have no dashboard which for those who dont know it includes speedo/mileage/fuel/ temperature basically everything also no indicators/hazard lights. we have only covered 1500 miles since purchasing it but despite this the after sales team told me the car is out of 3 month warranty (02nd april) and they will not do anything..

    Ok so we haven't got great credit ratings so after being turned down by Nissan we headed to ACF.

    Originally the finance was to be in my name, than magically they could add my hubby too, although he had been refused on his own! So we were shown a £9500 Kia 4 x 4, and loved it.

    We were blinded by the usual salesman technique who only seemed to tell us what we wanted to hear, signed the paperwork and left with an UNTAXED car, being told "Oh it's fine"
