Good Points: Stylish and fairly easy to clean. When it made coffee, as long as you maintain factory settings it produced a good cup of coffee.

Bad Points: Cold Coffee on occasions, I wish I had read the reviews prior to buying. If you change the settings they are hard to retrieve unless you made a note of them, however this is suggested in the manual.

General comments: Owned my AEG PE9038M Alu Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker for 2 years 2 months, made around 60 cups of coffee. Now it is out of warranty and requires parts totalling £277.33 as suggested by a service engineer due to heat exchanger, conical springs, piston, o rings and elements. I cannot believe that such a renowned manufacturer produces such a poor quality product and charge what amounts to half the value of the machine for spare parts. I know it is out of warranty but only by 2 months and considering it has had minimal usage (60 ish) cups then I feel slightly dissapointed that AEG will not consider replacing the parts for free. Needless to say AEG make some excellent products, however this is not one of them. I will think twice and consider other manufacturers before buying an AEG appliance.

Broke after making about 30 cups of coffee.no joy from AEG. Not fit for purpose. It looks attractive but not really fit for purpose.

Extremely disappointed with this AEG PE9038M Alu Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker. If I had the choice again, I would not buy one. It was expensive and has not delivered. I would buy a stove top espresso maker instead and save yourself some money.
