I flew a redeye with American Airlines from the US to Buenos Aires with my cat and had to switch airports -also spending a couple of hours in a hotel downtown to give Kitty a proper restroom- and then connect with Aerolineas Argentinas -the only possible company and flight at the time- to Patagonia. This flight was supposed to leave around 6pm, so I called the office at the airport around 3pm and they told me it would be delayed, but they didn't know details. I went to their office downtown and they told me it would be taking off at 9pm. I got to the airport at 8pm and the sign was already showing a delay until 10pm. At 10pm, it said 11pm, and so on... Lots of angry people going to the desk. Finally, after midnight, they announced the flight was being canceled and we should all go home or reschedule, without any kind of compensation. I was one of the few lucky ones to get rescheduled on the first flight in the morning, since I definitely had to be at the destination by 10am (thus, 1 star for customer service). It was too late to go to the hotel again, sleep and be back in time, so I had to spend the night sitting at the airport, with my luggage and my cat, fully awake to prevent anything from being stolen. I learned the problem was due to lack of pilots because of the fallout of a long-term fight with the union. Had they been upfront about the high chance of cancellation instead of trying to improvise, I would have just rescheduled the flight and stayed in the hotel until the morning to get a proper and much needed rest. Bottom line, anything can happen on Aerolineas Argentinas and the company does not care about their customers at all.

Argentina Airlines cancelled 2 flights on me and only gave me a few days notice. Doing so caused me to have to rebook other flights and stay over in Beunos Aires for a night. Although they covered a few costs, most of these changes cost me a fair bit in out of pocket expenses. They told me that they would cover my rebooking fees, but did not. I filed a complaint online as they required, and after 2 months they got back to me... but in Spanish which I don't understand. Repeated attempts to g ...

Aerolinas Argentina was rubbish! Do not fly with them, seriously. I'm sure I'm not the first to have problems with them.

I will never again use Aerolineas Argentinas. I had problems with them in the past, they changed the dates of my flights, scheduling was poor, always late. They cancelled flights with no warning. But this was the last drop.
The airline sold me 2 tickets for my daughters in the month of February. From Feb. to July, I called several times to inquire about their practices for accompanying minors. They even added a stop on the flight and when I argued that my minor daughters (8 and 5) would not be ...
