Bad Points: Ridiculously bad customer service.
    Security loopholes
Customer helpline is actually a robot which cuts you off if you don't do what it wants.

General comments: This bank is atrocious, I lost my card and after waiting 8 working days for a replacement (its meant to be 4-5 working days) I rang the customer helpline, which was a sequence of 'press 1 for this, press 2 for that, and had to wait TWO minutes to even begin to be put through to an adviser, who then told me he couldn't deal with my request and put me on hold for SEVEN minutes. I was then told my card had not been sent and was cut off. I rang again, and was told my card had been delivered to my home address, not my uni address. I rang home, no card.

I rang the bank again and was told that it was to be delivered to my uni address, but had not been sent yet. When I complained that this has happened to me at least 4 times in my 5 years of banking with them. I was told to borrow money off a friend until my card arrived.

I then went into a branch to draw money out in person, where a man sat at his computer ignoring me standing at the counter until I asked him if anyone was serving. He was rude and unhelpful and refused to help me at all.

    This bank is terrible.

I started banking with HSBC whilst studying for my A-levels, one of the reps was in our class we thought we'd make his life easier.
Whilst at university HSBC were fine at least whilst my student loan was going in then when I was accepted to go to the college of law, I was in much need of funds as you out there who are studying or about to study the LPC will know - it's alot of money!.

Anyway less than 6months after I had paid my final instalment to the college, I found that because my accoun ...
