Exceptional tyre for the price, around £95 fitted the cheapest ive found from Event mobile.(December 2009) Replacing kumhos that have completed about 25000 on the front of my MG ZT diesel , still 3 mm tread left on them, more on the back that will be replaced in the next few months with KU31z.
Grip and wear excellent as you can see. Only downside is perhaps increased road noise, but minimal. Make sure they are fitted correctly as are omidrectional tyres with rotational arrows- bear in mind that you can swap back and front same side but not acrooss axles as rotation will be wrong,

Road handling is very poor in rainy conditions.Start and stop the car and the tyres skid. I wonder whether these tyres are made just for summer ???

I bought the car with two new Kumho KU31 tyres on it. I thought they would be rubbish and would need to be changed for a "brand" tyre. They have proved to be a good all round tyre and have covered nearly 40K of daily driving and are more than a match for Bridgestone/Pirelli

Just replaced my P7 with Kumho KU31. Immediate find it is quiter and much more comfortable. The side wall is softer than the P7s so the handling feels a bit slower although the grip level is the same. For the same reason, my car is now more confortable on bumps and uneven roads. For its price level I can say it is one of the best in market

After 2 sets of Federal tyres on my Mercedes E class I liked the grip but was looking for something a bit quieter so switched to Kumho KU31s. The price is excellent and so far I haven't reached the limits of the grip, even under hard braking. Jury is out on wear but a friend has managed 20k on his so this should be acceptable as this will match previous Continental/bridgestones whcih cost 50% more.

The Kumho ku31 drives well and performs well for a budget priced tyre. good sidewall / rim protection. at the end of the day.... it's a great performing tyre at half the cost of main branded tyres. average wear life.... expected a little more than 20,000 miles with front to back changes throughout.

Wanted a 215/50-17" tyre for Toyoto Avensis Verso. Overall happy & tyre is still comfortable even though a 50 series (versus original 205/65-15) But I expect to get at least 15k'km less than the standard Michelins.

Good value for money. Compared to Dunlop SP Sport maxx, the Kumho KU31 tyres are definately worth the penny spent.

I have had 2 sets of Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 which I have been happy with, except for the noise factor, and the price. I have a Holden Vectra CDXI MY2004 V6, and they take an odd shaped tyre for Australia 215/50/R17. I had these recommended, and they were $60 to $80 cheaper than the NCT5. Took them for a spin after I bought them around the bends at south head in Sydney, and was very happy with the feel of the tyre, good grip, cornering and a lot quieter. On average I got around 50 000 to 55 000 km ...

I bought four Kumho KU31 Tyre's for my Mustang 2 years ago. The price was quite reasonable for 255s. I liked them so much, I'm having them put on again at the weekend. My car doesn't do a lot of miles, so although 2 years seems like a long time in wear, it's not. They did wear out relatively quickly in relation to the number of miles I did. Excellent tyre for heavier cars, especially the larger sports coupes. Would be ideal on things like supras, monaros etc. Not so great on smaller lighter spor ...

Although these tyres did wear slightly faster than my old Pirelli's, they definitely increased grip by a noticable amount, which was a nice surprise, especially considering the very affordable price, which more than made up for the higher wear rate.

When I purchased my alloy wheel package I did a bit of research into tyres, The Kumho KU31 seemed very popular with users and having used them on a Celica for a year I can see why. Prior to this I had the stock Yokahama Advans, then Goodyear Eagle Venturas and I have to say that I rate the Kumhos at least as good as the Advans and rather better than the Eagles. Directional stability is excellent, even deep puddles don't bother them in the least, they stick to the road like glue and I got a W rat ...
