Good Points: The Teen Angel (Frankie Avalon) preaches the value of pursuing an education in his "Beauty School Dropout" song.

Bad Points: Sandy goes bad to get the guy and when she refuses to drink, smoke, or swear, she is criticized for it by the Pink Ladies in "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee."

General comments: Danny and Sandy meet over the summer and when Sandy has to leave, they give each other farewell kisses, not knowing that they will soon attend the same school. They share details of their relationship to school friends at Rydell High in "Summer Nights." Soon, you realize that while Sandy is pure and wholesome, Danny smokes, drinks, and makes sexual decisions very easily (previously with Cha Cha DiGregorio and possibly with Rizzo). Will their differences get in the way of a possible relationship?!
