Why has this site gotten such a bad review?! This is the best site for money saving advice that i have ever come across, and i've been 'surfin' then net since '97!
Advice and confidence is freely given by people who have been in similar situations or who work somewhere within the financial industry, martin lewis being the best well known.
If you sign-up to the weekly newsletter, you will recieve advice on not only on how to save money, but possibly make some through loop holes on international websites such as Tesco.
I can't stress about how good this site is, for problems ranging from being £75,000 in debt to claiming back unfair £35 bank charges, how best to invest some spare cash you have to how to avoid getting the bailiffs at the door, this site has got it all covered! 10/10

The Money Saving Expert site itself is okay, as long as you avoid the forum.
Very rude people on their forums. The forum is not moderated in the slightest, therefore the members on there are allowed to be abusive.- Read Bluie88's review (44 words)

Mr Martin Lewis' site Money Saving Expert started off a real little gem. Full of deals and top tips on how to play companies at their own game. Of late MoneySavingExpert has lost a little of it's sparkle. There just aren't the same cracking deals anymore. This is probably symptomatic of the 'credit crunch'. Certainly, there aren't nearly as many financial product deals. It used to be great for mortgage, insurance and savings deals but they just simply aren't any on the market. All is not lo ...- Read nintendonut's review (167 words)

This is a great useful site and apparently the biggest money site in the UK. There are no ads its free and doesn't try and sell you stuff. The site makes money from affiliate links, but if the top products can't be affiliated they're still the top products.- Read johncharles's review (108 words)

This website is supported by affiliate links and to claim that it is advertising free is a little bit of a porky as far as I am concerned. If people sign up to products or services the site earns, the same as moneysupermarket in my opinion therefore I do not recommend Money Saving Expert.com- Read Guest's review (84 words)

Why not instead put pressure onto credit card companies to lower interest charges to give people a chance to clear debts?- Read sheilamags's review (177 words)

Forget Money Supermarket, travel supermarket, insurance super market !!! This site is tops and much much better than anyone I have ever seen. It provides a clear direction to where and what to buy to save money. I saved about 30 quid today as I got a good deal from exchanging my currency. None of this was available on Moneysupermarket ! Thanks you Martin....you are a good man !!! ( saving us money !!! )- Read harryppp2006's review (75 words)

Martin Lewis has been running this site now for a number of years (well Feb 03)and yet amazingly has been able to resist the urge to make big money from selling advertising space on his site. As such this site is quite refreshingly free from unwanted pop up adverts proudly declaring "You are visitor number 1 Million, click here to claim your free prize" before proceeding to infiltrate your computer with every form of spyware known to man!
