    Good Points: None


    Bad Points: It doesn't do what it's supposed to.
    It's half plastic, despite it's 'Engineered to last a lifetime' claims.
    It squeaks!


    General comments: This is a bit of an embarrassing subject but I feel embarrassed for other people when I see great tufts growing unchecked out of noses and ears. I have a battery trimmer for nose and ear hairs and thought that I'd get a manual one to be a bit 'greener', so I got Groom Mate Silver Wing Nose & Ear Hair Trimmer.

    I don't have an abundance of nose hair and it's not particularly wiry, but I do keep it trimmed and completely out of sight. This product fails to cut any hair unless you allow it to get long, even then it only cuts it back to about a millimeter or two and doesn't cut the more fine hair at all. It might work and be a revelation on those of you who have a tropical rain forest growing out of your nose or ears, but if your foliage is light I don't think this is for you.

    It's quite chunky and robust looking but I was disappointed to find that the said 'silver wings' are made of tacky white plastic and painted chrome silver.

    There's not a lot more to say apart from stay away.
