    Tried to obtain a replacement card and after spending over 40 minutes on the phone eventually got through to someone who had said my previous requests for a replacement card were not recorded!
    Write to the following email address and complain:antonio.Osoria@santander.co.uk.
    They might eventually do something about this terrible service.

    ASDA's credit card is OK and I am now receiving only 1p per litre off fuel when it used to be 2p--they changed it without telling me.

    The worst thing is their awful website--I keep trying to acess/pay but cannot seem to get on line. This has already resulted in a late payment penalty. I will close down my acount as I cannot put up with the rubbish service

    YVry poor service. My wife has a card also and in spite of repeated requests for a replacement 2 months later still no card. Now mine has gone invalid and I cannot get through to service due to the high number of calls and they expect me to wait at 10p per min. The card benefits have been cut back so I will have to consider dumping the Card.
    It is a pity there is no other way to contact that I know of live a freephone number or local rate one or even an email

    Absolutely terrible and havent even bought anything with the asda credit card yet! after reading these reviews i wont be doing either! got card but found i was unable to activate it, had to ring call centre, presumably in india, English did not appear to be first language.Then found i couldn't acccess internet site either again had to ring call centre, phone line would not connect, when it finally did i was told i was inputting the wrong details ie account number and was given a different number ...

    santander took over the credit card online facility, wow you dont get twenty seconds before it says session expired,had nothing but trouble, since the changeover, i cannot access my account to pay the bill,
    or is this the reason, because you choose to have online statements i think they dont want you to access your own account as then you dont know what you owe, and you become overdrawn if not careful, soon as mine is paid its being cancelled,

    I first got my Asda Reward Card in April - received it about 10 days after applying and used it for everything to get the loyalty points, then in October I got a call from the Security Dept to say someone had tried to use my card to order online (fortunately it wasn't processed) but I was told I would have to have a new card - I also received 3 PINs before finalling getting the card 8 weeks later!!!!!!! and now I need to use it get my quadruple loyalty points in Decemeber it's not working - whic ...

    Having an Asda credit card is time wasting, disheartening and time consuming. The web site never works when you want to pay it off. The customer service department is worse than useless and they think that it is ok to add charges to your account just because they feel like it. You then spend 3 frustrating weeks trying to deal with it only to find that they have done it again on the next statement. I have gone back to using another card and don't intend using my Asda one again.

    As others here have found, my online account was disabled with no warning. I rang the call centre and was told new cards were on their way and I could not use the online account until they arrived (even though the existing cards do not expire until the end of December). So far I have called twice and been given different dates on which the cards were sent. The new deadline for receiving them is 24th November but I am not hopeful.

    Please note than you can call 020 8181 0000 instead of the 087 ...

    i applyed for an asda card in august 2009 was accepted straight away but pin turned up no card ive reorderd card about 6 times the pin comes but no card i called customer services about 30 times and keep getting fobbed off they say wait a week(14days altogether) they said they had a problem with there processing plant and cards are not getting dispatched,ive been garenteed it will turn up 5 times yet still no card todate its now cost me over 200 pounds calling there call centre its rediculous an ...

    Been and ASDA Credit Card User for Two year, alway paid my bill ever month on time. Only now they has slashed my credit limit by 90%. Saying I have a poor credit rating. So I have now applied for a new card. No problem at all.

    Due to my statement not arriving I did not pay in time. Very expensive phone calls to people who cannot speak english only to be told that there was nothing they could do as it was the system. Having finally paid and thought it all sorted out I then received a letter stating my credit card would be withdrawn as I had a bad rating despite having this card for many years and paying in full every month. The service is absolutely appalling.

    I initially took out this Asda card as it had a decent bonus scheme - including money off petrol, free delivery when shop online at Asda with the Asda card and points each time you use the card. All of these bonuses have either stopped or dramatically reduced. I accepted this as a sign of the times.Being environmentally friendly I went to e-statements.     I have held the ASDA credit card for over 3 years now, and use it regularly for food shopping, for fuel, for direct purchases and for on-line purchasing. I have had only one problem in all this time, when a real non-ASDA purchase went wrong. I paid for items (wall tiles) to be ordered in, over £100 so within s.75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, and after 3 months the shop still couldn't deliver, so I demanded my money back.     The ASDA Credit Card customer service line is VERY costly and the help is limited. I've not been able to manage my online account for over a month and still no one can help me access it. Get told the same thing every time and then when I do what they say, it blocks my account.

    I have had transactions cancelled on Asda credit card without my knowledge.
    The car insurance and purchase of a new vehicle were cancelled five days after the card was used without any explanation whatsoever.

    2 year olds know better maths than ASDA Credit Card - or is that an insult to 2 year olds? Having had to tell my story to 3 different people on the first occasion I was assured the account would be closed. Two months later a bill arrived from the 'closed' account and a demand from Santander. Instead of crediting the account they had debited this 'closed' account. My advice is DO NOT TOUCH THIS CARD.

    To "log on" is very difficult and I can understand why customers are so dissatisfied. Review is full of complaints especially re. the website and the costly phone charges.
    Why cant ASDA sort out the problems? The log on box should be on the web page to start.

    Generally I have had no major issues with the asda credit card. Havent had to call customer service so I cannot really comment. The website is awful i must admit, constantly getting errors or session expiry which is extrememly irritating. As for those who call customer service; look on the back of you card and phone the international number by replacing the +44 with a 0 - Youget through to the same line for free. This can be done for any company with an international number.

    i recently finished with asda credit card it wasnt worth the hassle try to save 2p a litre on fuel by the time you have to phone them to sort a problem out thats if you can get through you end up saving nothing all you get is a headache and a big phone bill
    no to mention the number of times that they stopped my card for no reason and no explination

    all in total a very very poor sevice so asda keep your card
