    Good Points: Used in conjunction with their products, humidity is not an issue, easy to use, if you get in the habit of using the steam, your hair is like silk. Very durable.


    Bad Points: Too expensive, but once you use it, you tend to justify the price tag on it. Easily burned on the steam. A bit bulkier than other straighteners I have used.


    General comments: I have my Maxius Maxiglide now a good two years. The iron is durable, does the best job of any straightener I have used. My ONLY complaint is a complaint no different for any straightener....they say you don't get burned on it, well, I beg to diff on that matter. I have been burned more times than I can count. Since it is the same with all the others I have ever used, I don't think it is a drawback to even consider. I DO use their products along with it, simply because they are GREAT products and I have gotten to a point where I am not happy with anything else I use. I recommend this straightener to EVERYONE.!

    OMG!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Maxius for the Maxiglide. It works GREAT! I got my Maxiglide today, and it was wonderful. If you take your time and follow the rules it will work. I've always wanted a Maxiglide and now I've got it. The Maxiglide left my hair shiny and so soft, and I'm a 24 year old Afro-Caribbean woman. When I ran my hands through my hair, I was surprised, that not one strand came out, and I was not able to do that before on my damaged hair.Great product Maxius, it's AMAZ ...

    Have used Maxium Maxiglide hair straighteners for 5 years. love love love it, have 2 original maxiglides both still work fine. Really did change my life, thought the only way I could look good was a hat. Ordered new smaller version quit working in a week. returning, checked several other reviews, seems to be a common problem, recomend you stick with original style. This is truly a wonderful product

    Maxius Maxiglide is the best straightner ever. I've owned the original maxiglide and have now received the newer XP version. This updated version has the swivel cord, auto shut off and lighter case for easier use.

    If you want pin straight hair, try the new maxiglide XP.

    Ease of use and control of heating element. The maxi glide was easy to use and did a great job of straightening the hair also made it very shiny.

    I love the maxiglide so much because it changed my life, I have very curly frizzy nappy hair and all my life people would call me names. When I tried it I looked like a supermodel. Back in September I went to my 10th junior high class of 1996 reunion and at first no one could recognize me, but when they realized it was me they were like amazed. I told them that it only takes 10 minutes or less to do my hair!

    I'm not sure how durable the Maxius Maxiglide hair straighteners are because I've only been using the straighteners for a few days.

    The detangling teeth are awesome, and each individual hair gets straightened in one pass. The Maxius Maxiglide hair straightener is excellent, even on African-American hair.

    Just follow the directions and it will be the best straightening iron you've ever owned. If you make the mistake of "squeezing" and not "gliding" you WILL pull out hair.
