    USELESS!!!!
Totally unreliable. "Ventilate" error is the bain of every Titanium owners life. Perhaps Gaggia should have made a product recall to sort these issues out. Then again, it would have probably bankrupted the company. Oh dear, they ain't trading anymore. Not surprised.
Typical Italian engineering. Buy an Alfa Romeo instead :-)

Gaggia Titanium have a non existent helpline - don't answer phone or return messages. Quality of parts suspect. Really poor for an expensive machine.

We have had no end of problems with our Titanium machine, I wouldn't touch Gaggia again. Their UK service is useless, and they never sort out a problem, sending the machine back still not in working order. Convinced they have sent back a different machine in some cases as the parts don't fit.

Bought my Gaggia Titanium about 2 years ago. Fine at first but then has spent more time being sent back than sitting in my kitchen. At the moment I am so angry sent my machine back over 7 weeks ago (luckily took out the extended warranty when purchased ) They had it for repair for 5 weeks as every time it was plugged in it would knock the trip switch off it was sent back to me on the 9th June 2009 once unpacked the door was hanging off and the whole framework was twisted out of shape. They coll ...

I too made the mistake of buying one of the Gaggia Titanium coffee machines! It worked lovely for th first week, then it just stopped! Red lights all over. Sent it back to Gaggia, they then said thay wanted £142 for a full service even though it was only a couple of weeks old and made around 20 cups of coffee. They then tried to return it to me but it ended up back at Gaggia without ever crossing my door.

Gaggia Titanium is a good looking machine but its not reliable and has spent most of the last 2 years not working.

Had the common venting problem and has already been back for repairs twice, once 3 weeks after it had just been returned.

Has brocken down again and would like to send it back for repairs again but can't get anyone in customer services interested.

Have filled in their onlione form and contacted them 6 times now and am still waiting for it to be collected.

The Gaggia Titanium Looks good on the cabinet and makes a decent lukewarm cup of coffee. Also had the "ventilate" issue, but was able to solve it after an abundant amount of research on the internet. Prior to this issue, my main complaint was that it only served a lukewarm cup of coffee, despite the fact that I bumped all the temperature settings to maximum. It's a shame to pay this much for a machine, and then have to put each serving in the microwave before you can drink it.
    Would not recommen ...

Have owned my Gaggia Titanium for over 3 years now and in excess of 10,000 coffees have been brewed. No trouble whatsoever. I clean it thoroughly every fortnight (less than recommended in the manual). it gets descaled every 6 months or so (when descale comes on menu). Had the "Ventilate" Issue mentioned below on a couple of occasions - Assumed this was an airlock and so went through the system clearing everything - No Problems whatsoever with a modicum of common sense.

I had a similar leak problem after 9 or so months. The solution is simple if you are a little bit handy. There is a bad valve inside. I called Whole Latte Love where I bought the machine and ordered a Steam Valve complete - Compact Frame. Its part number GA-%0345.R and two O-Ringsthe valve that comes with the machine is plastic and the new one is a brushed metal casing. My guess, it will last for 10 years! Two screws on the back and the machine is openNear the front, by the steam wand, with a ho ...

Gaggia Customer service is non-existent. I sent my Gaggia Titanium for service (£108), and I rang them when I had heard nothing for almost three weeks. The response was like the joke about a pair of shoes that had been with the cobbler for ten years. "It'll be ready next Thursday".

There are better and more reliable machines on the market.

Six months ago, I bought the Gaggia Titanium machine from my local Fenwick store.

It cost me £600 and proved to be the worst purchase I have ever made.

When I first set up the machine, it made exactly 3 cups of coffee before a 'ventilate' message appeared in the LCD display and the machine stopped working completely. I phoned the Gaggia Helpline for advice. They told me to descale it, even though it was brand-new! Then they said they didn't actually know what was wrong with it and ...

I have owned my Gaggia for over three years now. Actually, this is not entirely true; I had my first one replaced within 30 days as the power supply failed (not sure about this but it did trip out my fuse box when switching on so something definitely was very wrong with it). The second lasted just over two years but was returned for repairs about four or five times. It was finally replaced under the extended warranty I took out and I have now had my third one for around four months. So far s ...

The Gaggia Titanium machine made great coffee for three months and then broke down. We had to pay £50 for it to be collected because we had bought it on the internet. Gaggia returned it and the machine wortked for a couple of months then broke down again. We have owned it for two years, it has been back to Gaggia five times and we have had less than 1000 coffees from the machine. We are now looking for another coffee machine and we wont be buying from Gaggia again.

I have owned my Gaggia titanium for about 14 months & was initially quite pleased with until it went wrong, then I found I had committed a mortal sin (as far as Gaggia UK was concerned) by purchasing it online from a company called Italy Outlet, who offered the machine, several hundred pounds cheaper than most UK stockists & offered it with a 2 year international warranty, when my machine broke down the first time the response from Gaggia UK was nothing short of hostile because it was purchased ...

Gaggia Titanium a great looking machine that produces fine expressos and cappucino coffee, with a on board water tank and grinder. After looking around I settled for this Gaggia model it's the top of the range auto machine. I read some negative reviews on the web about leaks but decided to take the risk.

Initial impressions were mixed, the coffees tasted superb easily as good as Costa & Starbucks after a little practice, but although the outer casing is stainless steel most of the inner worki ...
