    Well I have mixed opinion about this premier account with HSBC. I hold an HSBC premier account in India. What is annoying to me is that relationship managers keep changing every now and then. And every time they keep asking the same documents from me like my TAX Identity, passport copy etc. I also find they are just after your money and will make every effort to get you hooked into one of the investments. What is more frustrating is that they will never give you any forewarning about withdrawing ...

    HSBC Offshore Premier Banking (then based in Singapore) told me that there were no charges on foreign currencies on accounts held in Singapore.

    Guess what? There is a charge of 1% to deposit and 1% to withdraw funds.

    Then when I wrote to the head of the bank, they dismissed my claim as hear say and denied even saying it....

    So take a tape recorder with you to a meeting with HSBC because I can assure you they will say anything to get you in the door but do very little to keep you there o ...
