    This Peugeot 205 mi 16 1998 cc gti car bears no relation at all to the original Peugeot 205 1.9, in any sense, and should be placed in a section of this site entitled 'Modified Old Cars' or 'sub 200 quid death traps'. The original Peugeot 205 1.9 was a great car, I know, I drove one. Shoehorning a different engine, in to what is already a thrashed worn out 15 year old banger, is the stuff of fools or people who want to be cut out of their car by the emergency services.

    I had a Peugeot 205 mi16 for a while and it was quick up to 75. Real easy to work on and handled like it was glued to road. Probably the best all round hot hatch you will ever drive.
