    Good Points: No reliability issues. solid as a rock on the motorway. Sharp and precises steering and corners flatly.
    Great drivers car.


    Bad Points: Cambelts need replacing at 5 years or 72k miles. servicing costs accepatble. Sports pack so suspension can be a little hard. V close to the ground.


    General comments: The Alfa Romeo 156 1.9jtd is lovely to look at. Very Quick for a 1.9 diesel. Nice drive. Bought cheaply (04 plate) for the facelifted version.

    I bought my 54 reg Veloce new, it's climate packed up immediatley, it cost ME £70 to have it investigated by my Alfa dealer, turns out that there was two holes in the condensor, stones - apparantley! As there is a tray under it, no hole bigger than 5mm dia in the front grill, which is sloping away from it. I find this hard to believe, especially as it was removed before the car was delivered (new alternator). On top of this, facia has fell off, it rattles, its polycarb lenses fog over, and ...
