    These are very easy to live with speakers once you actually get them home. 100# each makes them a task to transport and do not transport them laying down as this is perpendicular to the connecting rod in the bass drivers and may be the last straw in their foam limited life.

    The Kef 107/2 are great speakers even I had replaced the foam of those woofers.
    After replaced the foam, the bass from these Kef 107/2 are still extremely deep and controlled, even at high volumes. I have tried with the Yamaha AV amp RX-995; Kenwood Power Amp KM-X 1000 and Denon AVR 4308. What I f ...

    I bought it 2nd hand. After i reckon the surround foam of the bass driver, the sound is just amazing.

    I have the Kef 107/2's with the updated tweeter and bi-amp capability. They come with the bass equalization KUBE system.     The Kef 107/2 are the best speakers I have ever owned. They sound great on all kinds of music, and they look great, too!
    The bass is exceptional; extremely deep and controlled, even at very high volumes.
