The car was booked with a third agent through Economy Car Hire. On arrival at Malaga Airport, nobody was there to meet us in the arrival's hall as detailed on the booking information.
After some phone calls, we eventually were told to go upstairs and wait outside departures.

Car was upgraded for us, it was fairly new and all tyres etc were in very good condition.
It was quick and easy collecting the car, the staff were all very helpful.Would use next time.

Economy Car Hire found us a great deal with Rent Auto which we collected from within Faro Airport. There was no queue and collection and drop off was very quick. Overall happy. Will be using again this year probably. The car I hired was a bit tatty but to be fair to Auriga Crown(the car rental company) they made notes of what I had pointed out and there was no hassle on return. The staff are a little bit miserable but it is a bit of a thankless job.
