I have found the bank unreliable as they refused to honour a purchase of £29.55 for petrol at my local supermarket.
The balance of my account was £751.00.
Their explanation was "there was something wrong with the debit card system, it should be working in a couple of hours"

The Co-operative Bank Current Account Debit Card is simple and straightforward. The account is accessible at the branch, via phone, internet, post office and post, so it suits everyone.
