The good points of this album are simply too numerous to list. However I will state as many as I can.
Lead singer Alex Turners lyrics are just brilliant! They tell stories of modern life and romance and just about anything anyone can relate to.
The music that supports them is fantastic! There ...

This is definitely a must-have for your iPod, but by no means is it as brilliant as all the hype suggested, this is just my personal opinion though and many people seem to disagree, namely NME and the Brits.
My enjoyment of this album is limited slightly because I can't help but feel it is aimed ...

Arctic Monkeys, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not is quite simply one of the best albums around. funny, exciting perceptive in lyrics and banging musically. I like the "Mike Skinner with guitars" comparison I keep hearing because it's pretty accurate - just throw some punk in the mix

Wow, I really do like the Arctic Monkeys, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not album. I have thousands of albums and singles in my collection, but I don't have many that simply contain one great song after another. The whole album is simply brilliant, original, and the music is very uplifti ...

Fantastic debut album. Raw and full of energy.
Songs that most people that like music will be able to appreciate on one level or another. With songs like "I'll still take you home" and "When The Sun Goes Down" to name just two of the sensational songs this album has to offer.

Wife bought it Saturday and listened to it in the car all afternoon. I reckon it sounds like The Streets but with more melodies and a rockier sound.

There can't be a music fan alive who hasn't read somewhere (probably the eNeMEy) that the Arctic Monkeys are the new saviours of indie guitar rock. Except they aren't. Ok, they're a bunch of teenagers from Sheffield who like the Libertines and the Jam a lot. They write songs about being young and ...
