My To Tom One unit has from day one been very unreliable and makes it own decision as to whether it will boot up and work. Reviewing Tom Tom forums it would appear that my unit is not the only one to suffer this problem.

The Tom Tom One is good provided that you set it to take the quickest route not the shortest. I downloaded 50 voices from the internet onto it and they work fine. I am very pleased with my Tom Tom and with the website support that comes with it.
