Bought it last year -thought it useless as I was trying to cut long leaved conifer --used it today on short cropped conifers --wonderful --no mess at all
You must use the extension bag as the small unit fills too quickly

I`ve had my Garden Groom for 4 years, it is a bit heavy but I think it does a good job. I have a very long Berberis hedge, very spiky but it copes with any length and thickness. You have to make sure you use a circular motion to do a good job and it chops it up very well and makes good compost. T ...

I have found this Garden Groom to be excellent for cutting box hedging round a tightly packed herb garden The clippings are collected and do not need to be raked up. It is easy to cut square edges and can cut to ground level. It is obviously designed for short growth only but a look at the design ...

I was anxious to use the garden groom, as we have a large variey of shrubs in our yard. I was disappointed to find it was heavy and cumbersome. It had to be emptied often and at times would not cut at all, especially when trimming woody shrubs and sides of shrubs. It worked best on the yews. It ...

I bought this hedge trimmer on the internet. Garden Groom Pro. £75 plus p&p.
It is the worst thing I have ever bought. I have a forsythia hedge this hedge cutter wont touch it. I would be better off using kitchen scissors. This trimmer may work on privet or some other very soft wood but I have ...

I used my new Garden Groom Pro today and on evergreens, boxwood bushes and barberry bushes--it worked excellent. On vibernum and other twiggy bushes I continue to use the hedge trimmer but the Garden Groom Pro for everything else is 1/3 the time. It is obvious you need to get down on your knees to ...

I got a Garden groom as a gift and found it to be a complete waste of time and money. Not only can it not tackle any sizable growth, it is also slow and cumbersome to use. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone at any price

This Garden Groom sucks. It stopped working for me in the second hour of use. It also is slower than a normal trimmer
