This product is horrible. I would score them 0 stars if I could. Their customer service sucks! This chainsaw has been in service longer than I owned it. Supposedly, 5 other similar models are in the same service shop as mine with some form of piston problem. I would encourage you to not only a ...

My old Homelite was a workhorse, but the Timberman 45 is a piece of rubbish. I'd never buy another Homelite saw since they have obviously cheapened the quality. Right now, my new Timberman 45 can't be started, so I'm back using my old one.

The Homelite Timberman 45 18 is a good overall yard/handyman type saw. If you want a saw to cut more than a few cords a year get a stihl. If you only cut a few cords a year the Timberman will be just fine. Plus the price is right. No, the timberman cannot be compared to a stihl. The old homelites ...

The Homelite Timberman 45 18 is the worst saw I ever owned. Will never buy another one. Bogs down way to easy. Fine for limbing, which is not what I bought it for. Too heavy. Brake broke on it the 2nd time I used it. I went and bought me a Husqvarna and Love it.

I've had Homelite chainsaws for many years. My last was a 360 pro, and it was a great running saw. I have not needed a saw for several years, and when the occasion arose, I went out and found what I thought would be a decent saw for occasional use. Boy, was I wrong! It has been nothing but troub ...

My Homelite Timberman 45 18 chain saw is not dependable, I have owned chainsaws all my life, and this thing eats chains like it's free lunch! I sharpen regularly, but this saw will not cut straight, it walks to the right as you saw through a log, if you try to keep the saw from walking, the chain wi ...

The homelite timberman 45 18" has good power, but has too many draw backs to purchase for commercial use. I have two and as has been stated here already, the brake was a problem on both until I completely removed it.As was also stated the bar and chain and sprocket do not last no time if you are us ...

I've used the Homelite Timberman 45 18 chain saw once after a big storm to cut down some trees and branches. It was delightful to use. Then fast forward two years later, the second time I used it, the self oiling pump stopped working.

I called Homelite and they said it is out of warranty. I called ...

I think that I would like the Timberman allot if I did not have problems with the chain break I mention in the bad points. This became a problem within a few hrs of first using the saw.
