We inherited this Smeg SUK 91MFX with the purchase of a new house. I followed the other review here and have just replaced a broken element myself. This cost only £25 for the replacement part from Smeg-Services. The oven now works perfectly and it was a 5 minute job to replace.

The Smeg SUK 91MFX is a truly horrible cooker that I regret buying. Our SMEG SUK 91MFX gas cooker is about 2 years old. It has failed 4 times so far. 2 elements in the oven have failed on separate occasions. The thermo couples on the burners have failed on 2 occasions which results in the burners not remaining alight.
