This review is on the new Daystate Huntsman Classic in .22 Caliber. I have had this rifle for 9 weeks and had a change to ring it out, so here are the particulars. This is a new rifle recently released by Daystate; it has the new Harper MK4 valve and a classic stock which makes the rifle look more ...

Get a huntsman mk2 and diver bottle and the best scope you can afford, i use a 16x40 tasco range finder. I have owned a huntsman mk2 for 6 years now and never had any bother from it,set it up right and hit what you aim at every time,on a good evening 21/2-3 hours take home 27 rabbits all with a litt ...

An excellent and silent hunting rifle.
A little heavy for some, but for kneeling or prone hunting its fine.

I bought the Daystate Huntsman Mk 11 second hand in .177. It's my first PCP rifle but not the first PCP I have fired. What can I say - I'm very impressed! I can hit a cigarette at 30 meters standing up and I haven't practised all that much. The trajectory is really flat on the .177 caliber and I wo ...

I own 2 daystates mk IIs, one in .177 and one in .22. Both guns are PCPS - pre-charged pneumatics.

Both were second-hand and both have been owned by me for a couple of years.

I'll review my other air rifles later.

The Daystate Huntsman Mk II air rifle

I used a Mk.I Huntsman to great effect in FT during the late 80's and early 90's. I won a championship, finished 11th in the Grand Prix series and won a few trophies at local level. Selling that particular rifle back in 1992 is something I've regretted ever s ...

The Daystate Huntsman Mk11 is a well built PCP Airgun, the striker mechanism is also well designed, which incorparates two springs, a main striker spring and also what I presume to be a damper spring to deaden the striker noise down to a tiny knock, barely audible.
I have tampered with this airgun ...
