Good competitive price for the cars we hired in South Africa. In the end, I gave up and took my business elsewhere.
My final query, pointing out all of the above was simply not answered.

On arrival at the Europcar desk, everything was going smoothly but the price quoted did not correspond with the price being charged. I'll never use Custom Car Hire again. The reserved car was not available from Thrifty Rent A Car at Florence airport, although I had the confirmation from Custom Car Hire. I had to rent from another agency at a much higher rate.
They did not respond to my complaint and kept the deposit.

Budget gave me the paperwork and pointed me in the direction of the car. This is the third time I have used Custom Car Hire to book car rental in France. I use them at Nice Airport and on two occassions they set me up with Europcar and once with Alamo at very competitive prices.
