Fitted the Z6 Interact tires around 4000km ago and they're still as good as they were when they were worn in. I've ridden them through the New Zealand winter and they offer ots of grip in the wet and loose shingle that they spread on NZ roads during the icier months. Can't wait to give them a good t ...

I've had the Metzeler Roadtec Z6's (not the Interact version) on a TDM900 and a BMW K1200RS and the tyre has been excellent on both. The BMW will cause a bit of slip if you gun the throttle in second in the wet (I think most tyres would) but other than that it's great.

The difference in handling on ...

I've tried Z6, Bt-020, BT-021, PR2 in the sport touring class, with Pan European 1300, FJR 1300 and GTR 1400. I think they're the better tyres in overal.

They lack a bit of grip in dry and hot roads comparing to BT-020, BT-021 or PR2, but they're the best in the wet, they're very confident and the ...

I'm not sure what you guys have been doing but I have Roadtecs on my YZF600 and they are TERRIBLE! Sure some tires are better for some bikes than other but these absolutely stink for the YZF! The other day in the rain at low speeds it nearly dropped it 3 times. And I mean low speeds. I've owned prob ...

The Metzeler Roadtec Z6 is a hard wearing tyre but in my opinion inferior to the Bridgestone 020 in the wet when fitted to the BMW RT. I think the rear needs more grooves on its centre. Then they could also apply wear indicators.

I've always had performance tyres on my 06 r1 but due to travelling 500kms per week started to get expensive the Metzeler Roadtec are great in dry conditions and lasts a lot longer than sport tyres easily....
When your doing 1000kms a fortnight this is a great alternative to sport/performance tyres. ...

I think these tyres could do with a tread indicator in middle section. You don't know when tyre life is expired. Happened twice to me, so I paid for these tyres just to be caught out.

I've only done 900 miles on the Metzeler Roadtec Z6 so far but they don't look to have lost anything. I replaced my Dunlop d208's which were much stickier but not as grippy. Sounds weird I know but I've done the sames speeds round the same corners on both tyres and on powering out the d208's slide o ...
