Extra battery slot a plus for those long hauls. Installed 256Mb of RAM and Windows XP on a 7000 from the Salvation Army and the thing ran beautifully. Even the DVD's ran without glitches
Not bad for a PII. Well recommend the Dell Inspiron 7000.

I have had my 7000 for 3 years now, and although I have a newer machine I can't See myself getting rid of the Dell.
