    Very good for weight loss, fairly cheap compared to many diets. I have been doing the atkins diet for about a year, not always strictly and have lost 30 lbs.

    I've lost a little, but no more than on a low fat diet. It most certainly allows you to control hunger, but I found it expensive and requiring quite a bit of planning.     Give it a go adapt to suit u and your needs.     Te Atkins diet definitely works, I lost half a stone in practically no time at all. The question to ask is what is the long term effect on my body, the answer is I dont know.

    It is really easy to just eat the greasy foods, but if you really want this to work (and the weight to stay off), you NEED to eat your veggies and start to include fruit when you're allowed.

    You will need to research how the body metabolism works to use Atkins' approach and tune it to your body in the final phases.     Would do it again but find it difficult to get started. but it does get easier after the first week but those first 7 days are really hard.

    I have been following the Atkins plan without any exerise for 15 days and have lost 14 pounds, i think this is a really good diet with fast results and only have an other 10 pounds to lose and my bmi will be just right .
